Great ToyWe got the snack bottle to give our collie cross something to think about when she wanted a treat. She picked it up very quickly (10 mins) when we'd hoped it might take her longer. That said its a real favourite of hers and definitely worth the money. Well made and robust its taken all the drops and chewing she can give it.

A good challenge...I bought one like this from pets at home for my golden retriever some 3months ago... I use this as a challenge for him and a replacement for fatty treats (keep vet happy). I use his dry dog food as the treat and larger treats to make him work harder. Thankfully he hasn't destroyed this one like he has every soft/squeeky or rope toys etc etc... Only 4 stars due to price. But worth a buy..

Eventually...My Golden Lab took a few months before she became interested in this toy but once she decided to play with it and worked out how to get the treats, she loved it. THIS IS NOT A TOY FOR AGGRESSIVE CHEWERS!! Thankfully our dog isn't an aggressive chewer for most of her toys, but when the treats run out, we have to take the toy away as she's trying desperately to break into the bottle by chewing the bottom off (yep she's a blonde lol the rope is still intact). I would recommend this toy to friends so long as their dog doesn't like chewing ropes to bits & they have some patience to wait for the dog to become interested.

dissapointingmy JRT chewed through the rope in about 5mins- it is poor quality. Would not recommend this toy to a friend.

Be patient!It took my dog (labradoodle puppy) a good couple of weeks to work this one out but even so it lasts longer than some of his other activity toys. Suggest you fill it with different sizes and shapes of treat so some come out more easily than others and he'll get the idea. Very good!

Not long lastingQuite expensive considering it lasted only a few days. My dog never figured out how to get the food (which is by pulling the rope continuously up and down, releasing the food) and managed to chew the rope easily (which then came off). Nice idea though.
