Product description

A delicious dry food designed for cats of larger breeds, with extra large kibble. Contains mussel extract to support joints, and essential fatty acids for a gleaming coat and fewer hairballs.

Smilla Finest Healthy Nutrition XXL with Poultry has been developed by leading scientific experts, catering especially for the needs of larger cat breeds. The XXL kibble caters to your cat’s larger jaw and teeth, and also encourages thorough chewing, slowing down cats who eat their food too quickly and supporting dental health.
Premium mussel extracts help to support the joints, which can be more prone to damage in larger breeds. The omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids contained in the added linseed contributes to your cat’s healthy skin and glossy coat.
Smilla XXL contains special vegetable fibres which can help your cat to pass hairballs naturally. This delicious complete dry cat food also contains all the vitamins and minerals your cat needs for a healthy, happy life.

Adult Urinary- no more crystals in urine
My two Norwegian forest cats became very ill, both having blood and crystals in their urine and they began to lose weight. We spent a year going back and forth to the vets for antibiotics and a program of other "urinary" foods, still no improvement in either. I decided to try this and 2 weeks later they had both stopped having problems, I couldn't believe it, they are both happy, healthy cats again <3

My cats say yes
I have been buying Smilla beef for a long time now. Eight spoilt cats with five different flavour food to graze and it is always the beef that I have to replenish first. The cats have spoken, think they would leave home if I stopped buying Smilla beef. Recommend

Best I’ve used
Discovered this for my old lady who is ten now and to help her with her tummy as she has sensitive stomach, Since I’ve been using it ( for several years) her skin and coat has improved and not had as much trouble with fur balls

Miracle biscuits
A perfect size our cats were swallowing the smaller biscuits and bringing them straight up again not good for the carpets because of the size of the kibbles this :does not happen ,excellent quality food exceptional value for money.

Fantastic cat food better than the pricier ones
As a hobby breeder of British Shorthair cats, I have tried and tested all the top brands to name a few : Science plan, Royal Canin, Eukanuba and so on, and despite using these for years my cats never seemed completely happy and with an offer for smilla XXL I thought why not try it especially since the size of the biscuits is similar to royal canin's british shorthair biscuits! turned out my cats all adore this food, they will eat every little crumb left of this food. Try it A+!

Excellent
Started buying kitten Smilla which was wolfed down by both our kitten and 14yr old kitties. The adult version is appreciated just the same. I keep the bowl topped up. Both cats maintain a healthy weight, have shiny coats and are full of energy! Mr 14yr old was prone to vomiting dry foods, this one hasn't affected him in this way. Great value for money. I like the smaller bag option to keep it fresh. Also adored my granny's Bengal/coon cross he helps himself out the bag!

Smillay Cat
My cat is happy with Smilla, she is a black cat and her hair has never looked so shiny and healthy, looking way younger than her 13 years. I took the risk to change her food for the best.

changed cat
Hi, My blind elderly Diamese cat Nicco suffered constipation after serious injury and surgery and consequently had "accidents" also he never seemed happy or full - Smilla - he goes once a day, no accidents and is completely content - what a great find for both of us! Have highly recommended this great product to all my friends - beats ALL the foods suggested by my Vets - hands down - will use from now on. Just ordered my second lot.

Great but....
We used this for quite a few months and the cats loved it. But we started to notice that when starting a new bag all our 18 cats would get upset stomachs. Like they were swapping brands. We had to stop using it for that reason. Once the transition period had ended however the food was great. Brill value for money and I do recommend it but be careful to marry the two bags when changing over.

Super for big cats
Snoopy, my Norwegian Forest Cat, now has something to get his teeth into. It tastes as good as other Smillas. I just wish there were more Smilla varieties in XXL kibble.

I recommend it
I really recommend this XL kibble. It's great for all large cat breeds and also for bigger cats who like their food too much. It's great that they have to chew on the food and it means they eat more slowly.
