Important instructions:
The device must be cleaned once a week with hot soapy water because cat hair and other particles can impair the operation of the Drinkwell Fountain. Furthermore, the device and especially the motor (pump) must be descaled every 2-4 weeks depending on the water hardness. After cleaning or descaling, it is important to thoroughly rinse the device.
Do not wash the filter with soap, rather rinse it thoroughly with plain water and replace appx. every 6-8 weeks.
Be careful to maintain a suitable amount of water in the fountain. The pump can not be run dry. When run dry, the warranty is voided.
It is recommended that the filter be changed every 6-8 weeks.
Aqua Garden Set:
Der Aqua Garden is a bowl with cat grass seeds to be hinged into the Drinkwell Fountain. The Aqua Garden requires flowing water for the grass to grow, then it will grow within a few days. One package contains two bowls of grass.
