It is particularly important to ensure that puppies of these breeds do not gain weight too quickly, as this may result in skeletal development falling behind muscle and body growth, causing bone and joint deformities.
As excessive calcium intake can be just as harmful for medium and large breeds as calcium deficiency, Canine Puppy Large Breed has a lower calorie and calcium content than original Canine Puppy. Optimum protein and fat levels promote balanced muscle development and a healthy, shiny coat.
Please note:
Due to the low energy concentration and reduced calcium content, Canine Puppy Large Breed is NOT suitable for pregnant or nursing bitches, who should be given original Canine Puppy instead.
