Product description

A tasty, hypoallergenic, whole food kibble for sensitive dogs. It does not contain any allergenic substances or grain so it is ideal for active dogs with allergies or a sensitive digestion.

Feeding your dog Lupo Sensitive 24/10 is hypo-allergenic complete dog food, which can reduce food allergies. Some dogs are very sensitive to all sorts of ingredients so it is important that your dog eats a dog food which provides all the nutrients it needs to stay healthy, yet does not contain anything which might provoke an allergic reaction, digestive issues or skin and fur problems. It is not always individual ingredients which cause a reaction, but rather the way they have been processed which can cause denaturisation.

Lupo Sensitive 24/10 dog food is suitable for:

  • Normal to very active dogs
  • Adult dogs of normal weight
  • When raising puppies
  • Pregnant and lactating bitches
  • Dogs with nutrition-related metabolism problems
  • Ideal for many dogs with food allergies
Lupo Sensitive is gently processed using a cold water compression method. This helps to retain the efficiency of the vitamins, proteins, animal fats and vegetable oils. The kibble is the perfect shape for your dog to chew and formed at a maximum temperature of 48° which makes it easy to digest.
  • It contains only a single source of protein – pure chicken:
Lupo Sensitive 24/10 dog food contains only 100% pure chicken meat from barn-reared chickens which have not been fed genetically modified feed or growth promoters. This is regularly tested and confirmed by independent laboratories.

  • Gluten-free – guaranteed grain-free:
The gluten content in grain such as rye, wheat and barley can often cause allergic reactions which is why Lupo Sensitive uses low-allergenic potato flour as a carbohydrate carrier.

  • LupoZell® helps to keep your dog fit and healthy:
LupoZell is a special blend of milk thistle, dandelion, mineral clay, dried moor extract and cold-pressed flax, borage, rapeseed and salmon oil. Milk thistle, dandelion, mineral clay, chicory and dried moor extract promote healthy liver and intestines. Flax, borage, rapeseed and salmon oil provide essential fatty acids needed for healthy skin and fur.

  • Icepressed® to preserve essential nutrients:
Icepressed® is a proprietary technology which processes ingredients so that they retain their biological value. Thermal denaturation or even gelatinisation of individual products is virtually impossible. It also allows secondary phytonutrients to be fully effective.
Lupo Sensitive does not contain any artificial preservatives, colouring or attractants. Nor does it contain pork, superheated oils, animal meal, industrial kitchen waste, bread, sugar, soya or milk products.
Lupo Sensitive is made with easy to digest potato flour, which is well tolerated, even with pre-existing allergies.
Lupo Sensitive 24/10 is the tasty way to help your dog stay fit and healthy!

Very good food

Lupo saved our dog. We didn't have to introduce it in stages. Awesome smell. Great lineup. We recommend.

Hypoallergenic at a reasonable price

moved my Labradoodle onto this food after trying various alternatives, 15 months on after trialing LUPO I've a very happy dog, especially his stomach!! My pup doesn't get excited with the food but he eats it... I now mix in a little wet food which works great!! If your pup is hypoallergenic this is great option!!

Great food, great value

Although it has taken a few weeks to get the feeding amounts right for my 2 dogs, they have not left a single crumb in their bowls since they started on Lupo sensitiv. My 5 year old Jack Russell has been 6.6kg since he was 6 months old and I am feeding him 100g per day over 2 meals and his coat looks good and his muscle tone is great. My other dog, a Beagle cross whom we rescued only back in February was struggling to put on weight but now she looks well nourished and is full of energy with Lupo

Lupo brilliant

Changed my Labrador onto this as he has a sensitive gut, brilliant food. As an added bonus his skin condition cleared up completely after changing food.

Love it!

Perfect food for my lurcher and terrier alike! My lurcher has a sensitive stomach and needs a grain free food. My terrier eats a grain free diet to help with her epilepsy. At first they were unsure, but once they were used to it they loved it. The pieces may be a little big but they are very easy to break up. My little terrier eats this faster than the lurcher! :) You can add warm water to break it down into a porridge if your dog struggles. All in all a good food but don't overfeed it!

High-quality ingredients and excellent value

I tried my greyhound on many different premium foods for sensitive stomachs before finding this. Most of them were grain-free and fish-based, but he still often had very loose stools. He's improved immensely on this food and he loves it. I like the larger sized pieces because he can't wolf them down as fast as he can the usual kibble. I've also given it to my other dogs for a few days when they've had upset stomachs and it's helped settle them really fast.

Highly rated

This is a great quality dog food. The chunks are quite firm, helping with keeping the teeth and gums healthy. It's cold pressed and not super heat treated so retains far more of the quality ingredients . It's very important NOT to over feed, this is a heavy and dense food so the portions should be weighed out according to the needs of your dog. Over feeding will upset the stomach. Excellent value for money highly recommended.

Fantastic for my Huskies sensitive guts

It is so hard to find an affordable high quality food that doesn't upset my two huskies digestion. My two have now been on this for a good 2 years and they love it, we haven't had any digestive issues and they are still very quick to scoff it down!

My dog loves this.

I tried the Markus Mueller brand when my dog was 6 months old but she found the pieces too0 big and was not keen. I bought the Lipo not knowing it's from the same company as above. Now my dog is 15 months old she loves it. She will eat it on its own and every other day I mix a sardine in. My dogs coat is lovely and glossy. Stools are firm. Would recommend and will be re ordering.

good quality food

I fed this to my 4 very fussy JRTs. It does look strange but as smell is more important to them it didn't stop them trying it. They do eat it, although I can't say they are in love with it (but I've yet to find a dry food they do adore) and there are some dried foods they won't touch. However I did find that after a few weeks on this diet they did develop incredibly glossy coats. No digestive problems and plenty of energy for my very active dogs. Overall I found it a good quality feed, and would recommend it

Finally :-)

I have a TT with itchy skin and a Rotty with terrible digestive issues (both 2). I have changed their food on average every 2mts to try and find one that keeps the Rotty firm and doesnt drive my TT nuts. From the most expensive all the way down to economy sensitive foods, nothing has worked. They have been on Lupo 24/10 for 3wks and so far they're better than ever - my Rotty has always been lean but he's finally starting to bulk up too. They've never reaĺly been fussed over their food before but they dive in and eat up in one go. We're all absolutely delighted!

Good

I send this food to my friend who is volunteer in a kennel, she told me the dogs are much better now and their hair look briliant, so I´m happy with it.

Excellent food

After adopting another dog 18 months ago, he struggled with our old dog food, random sickness and runny poo afterwards. After reading on a website about good dog food, I quickly changed to Lupo 24/10 after reading about its nutrients and after six months of use, both our dogs are loving the food and seem much healthier. Zooplus makes it easy to get hold of as well and it's delivered for free rather than lugging it home from the supermarket!

Great food.

My labrador x DDB loves this food. It's compact so it doesn't look like you're giving them a lot. My advice would be to weigh it so you're not over or under feeding. Hooch is 50kg but the bag lasts us a month so it's great value compared to another brand he was on before. The pieces are large but it means he actually has to chew!

Follow up to previous review

I have just moved county and my 2 greyhound/weimaraners have a whole set of new admirers. The dogs have been on this diet for nearly 2 years. I put a dessertspoon of goat yoghurt with this food and they love it. Admirers comment on their excellent condition particularly their shining coats. So thanks to Lupo they are in tip top condition inside and out.

My 3 dogs still wuffing it up!

My 3 dogs have been on this food for a good month now and very happy to say no problems. If my dogs could help them selves to this they would. I can honestly say when they get a new dry food after a week they leave food however with Lupo 24/10 there is n`t a crumb in any of their bowls. So now to order some more. :-)

My 3 dogs wuff it up!

I have 3 dogs, 10yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback, a 3 year old Puggle and a very, very active 2 year old Patterdale/Jack Russell. All 3 enjoyed this. Yes it`s a little strange looking, and i noticed the 15kg bag was much smaller than other dog food bags, however it`s compact. I`ve noticed my greedy dogs don`t need as much food as it it probably hard on their teeth but they can chomp through it. Nice poops too!. I will be repeat purchasing this food and hopefully keeping them on it for a very long time. I came to find it on "whichdogfood.co.uk" The expert reviews were excellent and for the price it has the best ingredients i have EVER seen in a pet food. I`d expect to pay £60 a bag for this, but its just under £37, amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! No animal derivatives in sight. :-)

wheat free helping itchy am bulldog

Had looked around at wheat free dog foods and this had best meat content for the price. Dog adjusted well to the new food, smaller stools and noticably less itching, although still some. Happy with so far..

Good quality food

I have spent many hours analysing dog food ingredients and wanted to avoid cereals. My Springer does not have sensitive system but wanted to give him a good quality food. The kibble is not coated in oils like many and is similar in appearance to a small pig nut, but he loves it and it smells good too. So far his stools have firmed up nicely and are a good colour. It's quite a dense nut and therefore when weighing the quantity out you get a smaller amount but because it is dense it takes him longer to eat it. Less of a " trolley dash" when I feed him. He also seems calmer and happier in general but that could be a coincidence! All Lupo San feeds seem good and I like the idea of them being cold pressed not heat extruded. Chose this one as he is partial to stinging nettles and it contains them amongst other ingredients which were top on my list of priorities.
