Food at the price of more expensive brands, but instead the manufacturer puts pieces of ground-up bones in the cans. The complaint process went smoothly, but I only got a refund for the unopened cans, even though I had opened one.

The consistency is different (rabbit flavour), my kitty was definitely unhappy with the food, her poo looked bad, and she even VOMITED several times after eating it! The cans arrived noticeably bulging, and it was a mistake to even open them and feed her. The complaints system is a joke, I've been waiting for weeks for a solution – in a normal situation I would have got my money back ages ago.

My cats (who have allergies) really liked the rabbit variety and always finished everything. So I ordered the larger tins again, but now they won’t touch the food anymore. The tins smell strange and don’t seem to be filled all the way to the top. After checking the other reviews, I looked at my batch number and it’s the same one. Otherwise, the food is really great and I hope the problem gets sorted out.

Batch number DO105478, strange 'mushy' texture, full of ground-up bones, the cats avoid it, and their poo has an unnatural colour after eating this food. I don't recommend it.

After my cat turned away from it in disgust, I gave some to several friends with cats, just in case... But even the farm cats that eat anything left it untouched.

I can confirm what others have said: it's full of bones, the texture is runny, and the quality is nothing like previous batches. I also reported this to zooplus, but the complaints process is a joke.

The consistency of the food is completely different from previous batches—it's runny and not very substantial, with lots of bigger and smaller pieces of bone. The quality is terrible compared to what I was ordering just a few months ago!! I don't know what Feringa is doing, but they're really hurting their own reputation.

Warning – ground-up bones in the food!!! This isn’t the first time I’ve found ground bones in the can. There’s loads of them. The cats left some in their bowls, but unfortunately ate some too, which ended up with them vomiting. I’ve reported it to zooplus – we’ll see what they do about it.

I get the impression that the main ingredient is bones—I can tell from the food my cats leave behind and their dry, white poo.

My two tomcats literally gobble up pretty much anything. They didn't even touch this food.

Raising the prices is one thing, but not at the expense of quality. There are bits of tripe and offal. They spit out the big pieces and something has changed. If I leave the can out from one day to the next, they won’t touch it. I end up changing their food without them barely having tried it. Plus, they've had diarrhoea twice. All very strange. It's a shame because they used to love it.

According to the ingredients, there shouldn’t be any bones in the food at all, so the label is lying. Small pieces of bone are the worst for pets—they can get stuck between their teeth or injure their digestive system. I don’t recommend buying this!
