Sheba Nature's Collection in Sauce Saver Pack 48 x 85g - cat wet food

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The food is easy to squeeze out of the pouch, but there’s always a little bit left inside that I have to dig out with a fork. That does annoy me a bit. The food smells pleasant and also looks good. However, I have to mash it up, otherwise my tomcat just licks off the sauce. He tolerates it very well.

The 85g pouches are nicely pre-portioned, but the yield is only so-so – you have to feed quite often because the packs are small. Ingredients: It’s a plus that there’s no sugar in it. Acceptance: Overall, it was pretty alright. The sauce and fish were happily eaten, but my cats completely ignored and picked out the veggies (peas/carrots). Good food for in between meals, but only somewhat suitable for “veggie dodgers”.

The Sheba Nature’s Collection includes the following varieties: - Chicken in linseed oil with tomato - Turkey garnished with carrots and peas - Tuna and linseed oil garnished with carrots and peas - Salmon garnished with pumpkin and parsnip The juicy chunks, which make up 43% of the product, contain 94% meat and animal by-products. However, the actual meat content in the chunks is only 4%. Unfortunately, sugar is also included in the recipe.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The food doesn’t have a strong smell, neither when you first open it nor after it’s been in the bowl for a while. Even my very picky Maine Coon accepts it. She eats all the varieties and hasn’t had any diarrhoea afterwards, which often happens otherwise. Normally, she eats higher quality food, without sugar and made from pure meat with no by-products. But every now and then, she can also eat this kind of food, since she likes it.

The portion pouches are just as you’d expect and are good. My tomcat liked it. However, because of the sugar, I wouldn’t choose it as my cat’s regular food.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Unfortunately, my tomcat isn’t too keen on this food. He was curious at first and had a sniff, but sadly didn’t eat it. I offered him three different varieties, but he wasn’t really impressed with any of them. Every now and then he licks off the sauce, but that’s about it. The ingredients, however, look really good and healthy.
