Wild Freedom Adult Saver Pack 12 x 200g - cat wet food

Looks good, smells good as well. But unfortunately my 3 cats ignored it.

We've been buying this tinned food for quite a while and our cats used to eat it without any issues. Unfortunately, we've now come across a different batch and both cats have diarrhoea after eating this one. What's interesting is that the ingredients listed on the label look the same, but the tins have a different production code. It's a pity you can't choose a specific batch when ordering. For us, it's a bit of a lottery, unfortunately.

My 15 cats ate it with gusto, but they seem to have some allergy—they scratch themselves after eating it. Before, they had Purizon with lamb and that didn’t happen.

Although my cats really like this food, I actually bought it because the kibble used to be nice and big (so they had to chew it first) and it contained a lot of meat. But when I received the packaging with ‘new recipe’ on it, it turned out to be tiny little pieces. There’s also less meat in it than in the ‘old’ recipe. Such a shame. I thought I’d finally found something good, but of course they have to make more money, so now the kibble is lower quality.

This (complete) wet food is highly rated and is supposed to contain all the good stuff. It also looks less coarse than some other brands and comes in handy pots, but unfortunately, our royal highness turns up their nose at it! They prefer juicy chunks/fillet in sauce or jelly. So it’s best to test first whether your cat even wants pâté. The rest of our stock is going to the shelter... I hope they’ll be happy with it.

Unfortunately, the latest batch is really, really dry, so it quickly looks unappetising and dried out in the bowl, and my cat doesn’t like eating it as much anymore. It would be great if the food could go back to its previous consistency—especially considering that cats get most of their fluid intake from their food.
