It’s empty in here!
Very easy to remove soiled particles and renew with clean litter. Economical, very good at absorbing any odour. Cats soon get used to using it, but it does tend to "tread" on their paws, but overall the best cat litter I have used
Considering the less than glamorous task of scrabbling around in a tray full of undesirable, this makes the task as easy as it could be. The litter tray for my kitten Ursula is right outside the toilet, and I can easily scoop out the clumps and flush it down the loo with minimal gagging and nose pinching. I keep a handheld hoover by the tray to deal with the tracking (that I had been pre-warned about).
Really good product. Environmentally friendly because it is made of wood chips, because it is light and absorbs many times its mass, because it doesn't come from Canada unlike most clays and because it is flushable (think dispersible aspirin tablet, it just breaks down into dust when in water!). Also, it does track but no more than others and much less than very fine clay litters, being light coloured poo is immediately visible and, it blocks the smells rather well with no chemicals! Lastly, it is economical as it lasts for really really long so even though the purchase price is higher, we have calculated that it is no more expensive than the cheap brands to use. Awesome product.
So easy to just scoop and flush and it clumps really well.
This cat litter is excellent. Controls smells, clumps beautifully, flushes easily. If you use a good mat next to the tray you'll also get very little tracking. Put a tray filled with this next to your human toilet for convenient disposal, get a nice big scoop like the Litter Lifter one, and then cleaning the tray takes you about 10 seconds. Top quality product and can't recommend highly enough.
I like this product because not only can I flush the clumps down the toilet, I can then empty the tray into the composter. It seems to trap odours well too. There is a tracking problem but its no worse than the most expensive cat litter available and you don't need to use as much as some of the cheaper brands.
I have had the priviledge of sharing my home with several cats for the past 50 years and now have 3 with me. As such, I've been through many brands and varieties of cat litter in my unending search of one that would help mask the pungent smell of our furry friends leavings!! I discovered Cats Best Oko Plus some years back and have never looked back!! This is the one that stops all smells pervading your house! Its lightweight, easy to use and easy to clean. The only very small drawback in my opinion is that it does get scattered a little around the litter area as it IS so lightweight. But I would put up with that everytime just for its efficiency in masking smells! Believe me.... Try it once and you will be stuck with this one forever!! And at this special price.... It lasts a long time too!!
Have 4 indoor cats use this all the time. No smell, just top up if getting low. Very economical
This is the best cat litter I have used... wished I had found it years ago...easy to keep clean...less smell...my 19 year old cat Maddi loves it and she is fussy with cat litter. Thanks Zooplus fabulous service.
Wouldn't use anything else for my cats clumps easy to remove no wet feet my daughter tried others for cheapness but there not cheaper as you remove more and it always looks wet + messy Not OKO its ideal in every way
This may be a little more expensive than other litters but it's certainly worth it. Clumps exceedingly well and traps the odours by drawing out the moisture. This also makes it so much easier to scoop! I have 5 cats and 3 (lidded and filtered) trays but only have to change the base material every 3-4 weeks. Would certainly recommend.
We've tried all the main stream litters available and with 10 cats it's no joke the cost of litter! This litter is simply the the best value we have found! Although it tracks more than some of the crystal type litter it clumps really well and reduces some of the more unpleasant smells from the litter box! One 40l bag lasts our 10 mainly indoor cats a month it's an absolute bargain!
Does everything it says it does - brill!
We have two cats, oriental and siamese. When we just had the siamese we struggled to find the right litter for us and him, especially after he developed a problem called water diabetes which means he drinks an awful lot and pees a lot. He's also quite fussy when returning to a soiled litter tray. After trying clay, pellet, silicon and others, both clumping and non-clumping, we happened upon Oko Best. We have not looked back and neither have the cats. It clumps well, absorbs most odours and is easy to dispose of. None of that ammonia stink other litter struggles to deal with. We actually have a bin next to the trays as the quantity of waste produced by both is too much for the toilet system. Having said that you can easily flush it and we did when we only had one cat before he developed the problem. We can throw it in the he bin with relative impunity because it is biodegradable and we use biodegradable sacks before putting it in our normal household refuse. With the two cats we can leave both large trays for a day if needs be although we try and valet them morning and evening. The breeder of the oriental also used this litter so the little newcomer was used to it straight away and hasn't had a single accident in his first year. It doesn't create much mess, any more than any other litter. That's more to do with how people set up litter trays. There is always going to be some tracking but we keep a handheld Hoover in the he room and dustpan and brush and all is well. Better than the horrid clay clumping stuff which has so much dust. This does not produce dust at all so cleaning is easy. We have now been using Oko Best for 18 months. We love ordering from zooplus because it's the only place you can get the mega 40l delivered to your door at a great price. Can't see us ever changing.
Been using this for about 18 months now and it really is simple and "clean" to dispose of down the loo (I don't think cat wee and poo could ever be clean but you know what I mean). Our two cats live upstairs away from the dog and this litter has made all the difference.
Excellent value and product, very easy to clean litter and lasts soooo long.
I followed all the recommendations before buying 3 massive bags of this litter, and am now glad to be getting near to the end of it. I have 3 indoor cats, and the tracking is horrific from it, must have spent more on power for my hoovering than saved on littler costs. It is non smelly, clumps well, but it sticks like glue to paws and I am grateful for a leather suite! Thanks, but not for me!
Don't get me wrong, this litter is great and for my Norwegian Forest Cat it's ideal as it doesn't get stuck to his tail or any other part of his coat. Sadly it doesn't work well in his favourite litter tray as the litter grain is far too big (omega roll & clean) For my other two cats it seems to track terribly, I've been finding this stuff literally everywhere and it's been driving me mad having to sweep up all day long. That being said, I love how I can flush it without worrying about clogging pipes or damaging the environment and it is hands down the best litter I've come across for containing nasty smells. The clumping is great - doesn't break apart when you scoop or let the urine sink to the bottom of the tray.
I once bought a cheap supermarket brand clumping litter and it was so bad it put me off buying clumping litter for months. A friend recommended Cat's Best and I've realised how great it is. It has a lovely earthy smell and masks odours so well I barely notice it. The litter clumps into neat little balls and waste is super easy to remove. I have 2 cats sharing one large litter tray and the litter still goes very far. Highly recommended!
This litter is great! Love it
I've been using Cat's best Oko plus litter for almost a year now. I buy the 40L bags and they last about 3 months with my two cats. Pros: -economical, especially in comparison to the most similar product available at the supermarket -excellent clumping -easy to clean - it's flushable, or at least it is in my house. I don't have a garden so composting isn't an option. -light weight compared to the clay kind, which is great when I am doing a full clean of my 2 litter boxes as I wouldn't flush that much at once -long lasting - I only have to fully clean/wash out the litter boxes once a month, it clumps that well -pretty good at disguising the poop smell. The urine smell is non-existant. I scoop the boxes 1-2x a day, and I have one large covered box and one small open one for 2 cats. Cons -does track, especially if the kitties get any of the wet litter on their feet whilst using the box. However, doesn't track any worse than the clay, and it is easily vaccuumed up. I use the litter-catching mats to help with this. -my cats adapted to it pretty quickly -bits do stick easily to bathroom rugs. I have taken to lifting these off the floor between showers. The variety of a similar, vegetable based litter I bougth at the supermarket did have a slightly better scent which concealed every trace of poop smell, but the price compared to the Oko plus just isn't worth it. If the kitties go number 2 whilst I'm home, I know it pretty quickly and I just go and scoop right away. If I'm out at work and it's had a few hours to settle, I only know there is poop there when I scoop. If you're switching litters, it always pays to mix the old with the new whilst kitties adapt.
using it for 2 bengals and absolutely happy. easy to clean. no smell. just make sure you put some mat in front of the box to catch the particles off the cats feet. can't recommend enough.
Very good product Im very happy with it and have just bought another bag. The house does not smell and cat's paws love it, digging and digging :)
....but this stuff is amazing! I never used to get clumping litter and just used to scoop out solids and do a change once a week. This is for 2 cats and 3 trays ao used to get through a lot. But now, a daily scoop and ot doesn't need changing for ages. Got the huge bag and it will last months. Thought it was expensive but given how long it will last and how many bags of cheap litter I would have gone through- this is far morw economical.
Over the years Ive tried many cat litters, my challenge to-date is finding a good all round cat litter for ant ageing cat who has diabete's. Ive tried a few and lets just say they have been far from good! The crystal cat BRILLIANT! Light weight, clean, no odour, cat friendly, human friendly.....doesnt cripple your feet if you tread on it bare foot! You dont have to keep washing the litter trays out ever week. Just clean out soiled areas 2-4 times a day and it couldnt be simpler! Great product, great price especially when on offer and also a great delivery service:-) Well Done Zooplus.... one happy customer with this product!
Excellent litter. It clumps, it flushes, it's well-priced, it's good for the environment, and our cats like it. What more could you ask for?
Before finding this product I have tried all the other supermarket brands but to no avail. All of them smelt horrible after my cat used the tray. I found Oko Plus Cat Litter really good and smell free. Would recommend.
I'm really glad I took the plunge and bought some Oko Plus. This litter is just as good as any clay litter absorbency wise and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there's no odour. I especially love its green credentials and it flushes down the toilet with ease, though I do break down the bigger clumps before chucking it in just in case. There's also zero dust, which has made my husband very happy!
6 weeks on and still some left in the bag, great product, I have 5 cats using litter tray, no smell, light weight, great value, highly recommended.
As the title says this is the best cat litter i have found i have tried many many litters but this is true the best when it comes to fighting odours....don't be put off by the price as the bag will last you for ages. 40L bag lasts us 3-4 months with 1 indoor cat. Litter is also flushable in the toilet..and totally natural and non clumping
I have been using this for a while now and it is brilliant. The clumping is good and you just scoop out the bits that have been used. Tracking is not too bad and I have the litter trays on rugs which keeps 99% of the tracked bits and then I just hoover the rugs.
This cat litter lasts longer than any other litter, clumps well and disguises odour. Thats all great but have found the tracking to be pretty bad. Am rather house proud so like to keep a clean ship but found I was having to hoover the cat room and hall at leaf three times a day. It may not help if you have six cats like I have and long haired. For those with less cats I would recommend ir but the tracking was too much for me.
After trying several litters I have finally found one that suits both me and my cat! No smell, doesn't stick to the tray, easy to clean out and is flushable! Treads a little bit but the pros outway the cons by far.
I have 4 cats. Can't say enough about this, bought a bag a couple of weeks ago,I don't get that cat urine smell when I walk through the door, don't seem to be using alot of it,I have never seen anything like it, even the urine clumps,it looks like a yellow sponge and you can just lift it out and dispose of it, and the litter is much lighter than the one I'd been using. Highly Recommended.
We bought this because our kitten eats her litter - and the regular clumping variety is very dangerous for her. This stuff hasn't caused any problems and I have been really impressed - it's light and fluffy, which means that she manages to cover any business properly, reducing odour. Despite that, it clumps well, making the cleaning easy.
I have tried so many different types of cat litter now - thankfully our cat seems nonplussed and I'm keen to find her something good, then stick to it. Up until this point, I couldn't find something that lasted, controlled odour, felt like the 'right' choice for her and that was, overall, good value for money. The fact this is more eco-friendly than others is a bonus! This has been ticking all of the boxes. It's incredibly light so convenient to use, there is virtually no bad odour at all, it lasts for ages as long as you scoop daily and occasionally top the litter up, and for this reason, it's good value for money. I averaged £15 per month on moderately good litter. Now I average £10, give or take. Some people have complained about the tracking but, from my experience, this has not tracked any more than other cat litter types I have bought in the past. Whether it was clumping micro granules or the slightly larger granules, they were still all tracked, the thicker granules being worse. I've just accepted that there will be some around by her litter box so keep a broom there. All in all, really happy with it!
I have bought this cat litter ( 40l) in august and I still have about 2 months of supply in the bag. So its like just over £ 3 per month for cat litter. Very good value for money, it absorbs smell of urine and clumps very well. The only negative is that it is everywhere in the house after one day but it`s still the BEST cat litter ever and cat loves it too !
I used to use any old stuff from the supermarket, which seemed cheaper but I was getting through so much of it. This was recommended by a fellow cat lover and it's AMAZING! It clumps the wee into a little ball so you can take it out easily and the rest of the tray stays clean. A bag lasts for ages as you only need to top up the bit you've scooped out and I clean the tray properly once a week. Value for money much better than cheap stuff. It masks odours well too I think.
Best litter on the market, does not smell ever in my house. I use royal canon and natural food for my cat so there no odour. Was dreading the smell part as i rent in two rooms attached to each other but have had no worries in the confined space. Just bought a bigger bag! Does make a little mess and can build up if not cleaned but i have bought a litter mat which captures most of as my cat comes out.
This cat litter is the best I ever tried in terms of effectiveness, odour control, price and lenght. Highly recommended!
