I have been using this Cat Litter for two years +, I have tried most other brands but this is the best. Easy to keep the tray clean, easy to dispose of. 5 *
Best cat litter I've ever used - economical, lasts for weeks, easy to use, can be flushed down the toilet, reduces odour, cats love it. I have recommended it to friends and buy the 40l bag- even more economical. I wouldn't buy any other brand.
We started using Oko Plus as it was recommended by our breeder, and we now recommend it to other people! My cat feels happy and comfortable using the litter, we've had no accidents and there's minimal smell. It takes seconds to scoop out as it clumps up so well and it lasts for ages before needing changing. Satisfied customers A+
It's a very good cat litter, clumps well, and doesn't smell too much but the litter does spread around, which is a bit annoying.
This is an excellent product, being a sterer of kittens or a charity one needs a good quality litter. It is soft on paws, economical and cats love it
This has been a firm favourite of mine for years now. Excellent value for money when buying the large bags. Great odour control, easy to scoop out the clumps. The only reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the tracking (but with a litter mat outside the tray the worst of it gets caught). The "Gold" version of this litter doesn't track as much- but is more expensive (and I don't think worth the extra money).
This litter really is the best that I've tried, and growing up with 6 cats I have see a lot of different litter brands! There is no dust like many clay litters, all liquids clump and the mess can then be sifted out and flushed down the loo. The littler lasts a very long time, just needing a bit of a top up, and doesn't hold any bad smells. I would recommend a matt to catch any litter that sticks to kitty's paws, a good slotted scoop and a deep litter tray, then you're good to go.
I run a 12 pen cattery and have used this product for the last two years. It is excellent in every way. Not only does it perform 100% as a litter, some of my waste is used in composting so saving me space in my trade waste disposal bin. I would recommend this to all cat owners. I order from Zooplus and it is usually delivered within 2 - 3 days which is excellent service.
I bought this for first time a while ago after I saw some good comments about it on a forum and I have no regrets. The bag is huge and difficult to store, but it's good value. In the beginning the tracking was really bad, but then I decided to buy a mat for the tray and it works wonders. This litter works perfectly, it clumps up when it gets damp, it's super easy to remove, and you don't need to use a whole lot of it! I calculate this bag will last me for about 8 months, having a small sized cat. I definetly recommend it.
Love the way this cat litter clumps and can be put down the toilet. Great that it controls odour but tracks but laminate flooring is so easy to sweep so I don't mind, my cats are indoor cats and happy now that I don't have to change the litter trays every week like before.
This is the only litter I use, although we have tried wheat- and corn-based litters. We have a Maine Coon and a Ragdoll, and unfortunately there is always a bit of tracking, but I believe this happens with any other litter as well. Cat's Best is very economical and super regarding odour control. Will definitely stay with this product.
Absolutely brilliant cat litter the best I've had for my cats! isn't too hard for their feet and great to dispose of!
I have always used a clay clumping cat litter, but when I adopted two rescue kittens and the one started sneezing, I changed to to Cats Best and the sneezing stopped. Fantastic litter, no smells, easily disposed of, the cats like it, can't fault it. And so much better for my babies ... :)
I have 5 cats and 2 ferrets so finding this litter has been wonderful. Odour control good for the ferrets and the clumping is great for the cats. Tracking is not a problem as my litter trays are in a wendy house in the yard but it does seem to be over the floor in there. One cat is diabetic and at first I found the litter went too slimey as he wees A LOT but a very deep tray full of litter and scooped out twice daily solved that and the smell from his wee is loads better. I also have found i don't have to change the trays fully much any more as it does clump and stays clumped so you can remove the waste.
Thought I'd give this a go as my 5cats are used to a woodbased litter but needed a clumping litter as I've got roll and clean litter boxes and it works best with a clumping litter. Yes OKO plus is very absorbent and does clump well but my oh my the tracking is sooo bad. (I also found I was using much more than usual so it was not economical for me)With 5cats using the litter boxes I just could not keep up with the hoovering! So went back to Biokat Micro what with that and the roll and clean litter boxes its become a doddle and not a chore to clean out the boxes. If
I have two indoor cats who share a litterbox and this is the litter I prefer.Firstly it clumps well it absorbs odour even after a weeks use if scooped morning and evening and my cats are fastidious about cleanliness. It flushes which makes this easy.It does stick to paws and trails a bit so not perfect, I still try anything new but always come back to this I have found nothing better.
I started to use this litter for my cat a few weeks ago. I wish I had discovered it a few YEARS ago! It is excellent and well worth the money. It lasts much longer than most other cat litters and is incredibly easy to deal with. My cat likes it too!
I've been using this litter for quite some time now, having used other wood based litters, hemp based litters & even silicon based litters, this is by far the best. OK, I won't lie, it does still get tracked out of the box on their paws - but on the plus side, it is a mere annoyance when stepped on, unlike other litters which may as well have been lego bricks for the pain they induce when stepped on. There is practically NO smell with this litter (obviously this will be aided by your cats diet, feed 'em cheap cat food & expect a smell - it's simple, if the cat food smells vile before you've fed it to your cat don't expect it to be pleasant out the other end)I feed my cats a BARF diet, & so I don't have too much of a problem with smell anyway, but this litter even stops the nasty whiffs of cat pee (2 boys & a girl kitty in the house). It clumps really well, but then also flushes down the toilet!!! (Do follow the instructions on the packet though if you don't want to block your loo...if you do incidentally block your loo, add water & leave for half hour or so, then flush away, as this litter breaks down over time in water!!!) Although this is woodbased, until you get to the bottom of the bag, there is limited amounts of dust associated with this litter (Ideal as I suffer with asthma)Even if you do find an amount of "dust" in the bottom, you can STILL use it & it will still clump together!!! Yes, the price is a bit on the high side, but to be honest, I'd rather pay the price, than spend forever sifting through dust / hurting my feet as I step on it / taking my cats to the vets with cut paws Or not being able to breathe in my own home! Besides, Zooplus seems to be the cheapest place to buy this litter for the biggest bags! It IS very economical & lasts a long time & you don't have to worry about unwanted smells (the caveat being that the smells depend largly on what you feed your pet) The Free cosma heart box was a pleasant surprise & as I have 3 cats, I gave them an 85g tin each for the dinner as a treat. I have to say out of all the cat foods I have tried (believe me there have been many before the BARF diet) this one has the least un pleasant odour- in fact it smells quite good, even from a human perspective. The meat in here is clear & obvious that that's what it is (unlike the usual undefinable rubbish in other cat foods)the Jelly is fairly clear too, which means not so many nasty additives to cause digestive distress. As far as cat foods go, this isn't half bad & the cats...well...They were trying to climb in the bowls as I was trying to serve, from any & every angle! They wolfed it down..even my "anorexic" cat, didnt spend as much time staring at invisible being's & actually got on & ate his food in reasonable time (Trust me, it's not what I feed him...he's ALWAYS been Mr. Distracted when it comes to food & is the reason that a BARF diet became necessary. I also got a lovely little trial pack of Tigeria Happy Hearts (100% air dried chicken) Which made them all very happy & I had to demonstrate the emptiness of the packet before they would leave me alone, so obviously very tasty & definitely meet my strict dietary requirements for every-day living for my cats! BIG Thumbs up! Thank you Zooplus! I look forward to making regular orders with you!
The reviews almost put me off because of the 'tracking issue' but i'm so glad i tried this litter!! I have put a piece of Vetbed by the entrance of the litter tray and have found no tracking whatsoever. I really love everything else about this cat litter too: the smell, the price, the clumping, the fact it is biodegradable, etc. My cats are also very pleased. Highly recommended :-)
Finally a cat litter that actually clumps without forming layers of cement strata in the litter tray... Very important when you have large cats who wee like the Hudson River! What a relief. Yes, it does go everywhere but I have to sweep up every day regardless of the litter I use. The 40l bag is very heavy and awkward to move/fill up from but very good value.
this is bt far the BEST litter i have ever used, there is no smell when its used properly and its easy to scoop out
simply the best cat litter on the market. i have tried lots and wouldnt use any other now i have tried this one . What i like about it most you easily flush it down the toilet -brilliant!!!
This is a very good cat litter. Clumps beautifully and gives excellent absorption and little or no odour. Lasts longer too so better value for money.
I was tipped off about Öko Plus last year when adopting a cat from a friend. In all my years of being a cat owner I'd hoped that one day a litter would come along which would be flushable - and this is it! There's no nasty smells from wee or solids, the litter clumps wee so effectively that it doesn't stick to the tray and it forms into a lump that you can just scoop out and flush. Brilliant. No more scooping and bagging only to stink the outdoor bin until collection day. Öko lasts for ages too, so the XXL 40L bag I've just purchased will easily last both my indoor cats four if not five months. Happy pets, happy owner.
This stuff is amazing (although this is my first cat, so am easily pleased)! Clumps really well when wet which ensures the minimal amount of wastage. Masks the smell (of urine, at least). Flushes down the toilet and the rest is OK for the compost heap as and when you require! What more could you ask for!? The instructions were all in German but, on a visit to a pet shop I took a picture of the English ones. However, it's not rocket science...put 5cm or so in litter tray, clean out when required! I didn't have an issue with the smell of it out-the-bag and the cat doesn't seem to mind it!
I have used "catsbest" for a couple of years now and can honestly say it IS the best.I have tried many other brands over the years.I have a deaf/indoor cat,so a litter tray is an ongoing requirement.I now buy on line from Zooplus as their prices are very fair.I buy the 40L pack as this is by far the most economical long term.
I loved the idea of the litter, the fact you can flush this is great and it clumps well, looks a bit like sawdust. Only problem is my two hairy beasts track it all around the house. Am now sick of hoovering every 2 mins or walking it into the carpet. Would reccomend if I had short haired cats but back to the drawing board for me.
This is the best litter I have ever used. It clumps and covers well. Best to use a deeper tray, and put in a good depth of litter, I put in nearly three inches. This helps the clumping, keeps the tray cleaner and makes it easy to scoop out. I then drop the clumps into the toilet and allow to soak before flushing. For the first time ever, cleaning out the spoil tray is no longer a smelly chore. You will get some tracking, but it is easy enough to brush / hoover up. Strongly recommended.
I have tried loads of different litters over the last 25 yrs, all the cob and corn to recycled paper! Nothing and I mean nothing comes close to how well this works ! I have 5 cats and this means no smell , minimum fuss in cleaning and minimum waste. It's brilliant I can't fault it
I have been using this cat litter for quite a while, i have 4 cats 3 Birman 1 Maine Coon, I would not use anything else it's brillient very economical this litter clumps very well, so that everything can be lifted out, I only have to completly change it after about 6 weeks .
This litter is great as it does not smell, it hides the smell of cat waste and you only need to throw away a small amount at a time. It does not harm the cats' paws and it is not dusty. It does track around the house but this is a small price to pay for great product.
I can't rave about this litter highly enough! It is really economical, I've found I haven't had to fully empty out my litter trays as frequently as with other litters so it lasts a long time. The urine clumps really well and is easy to scoop, and it doesn't stick to the bottom of the tray when it's shallow like some clay litters. The best thing about this litter is that it's flushable, it makes it so convenient. I find that the only problem is that it does track quite badly, but I purchased some mats and that picks up most of it.
After years of using the cheapest supermarket cat litter I was a bit sceptical about switching to something that seemed so expensive for my 2 cats (one indoor and one an occasional user, she seems to prefer my next door neighbours garden >.<), but i got the large bag and it seems set to last 3+ months (just under half left after 2). Works really well and doesnt smell to bad, is a little on the light side so tracks a bit but doesnt get caught in my long haired cats fur which is great ^^ they did seem a bit sceptical about using it at first although i combined the new litter with the roll'n'clean litter box but after a week confidently removed their old litter tray and litter.
I have four cats and also work as a professional cat sitter. I have used all types of cat litter at home and in my work and, after being recommended Cat's Best by both a friend and one of my clients, I have to agree this is simply the best cat litter around. It clumps well and, because you only need to remove the clumped and soiled litter, is very economical and goes a long way. It minimises odour, is natural, biodegradable and pleasant to use. Cat's Best lives up to its name and far surpasses every other brand of cat litter I have used. I now recommend it to everyone.
After looking after my indoor cat for 16 years who sadly died 3 years ago. I recently took in a rescue female that turned out to be pregnant and now I have 5 indoor kitties. I tried oko and I can just simpley say "it's the best cat litter in my 16 pluss years experience of looking after cats". No smells and easy to keep clean.
My outdoor cat has become an indoor cat due to her age and has started using her litter tray four times a day instead of four times a month. I tried lots of different cat litters and all were smelly, expensive and very heavy to carry back from the supermarket. Decided to try this and am completely won over by it. I got a large 40L bag delivered and I can't detect any smell at all. I do remove the clumps as soon as I can and top it up regularly. My cat was sometimes reluctant to use the tray before as she obviously considered it a bit too smelly but she has no such problem with this. She does walk it all over the house but that is a small price to pay for the clean smell. I've invested in a small rechargeable vacuum cleaner to pick the bits up. Lasts well too, it's about a month since I got it and the bag is still over half full. Great stuff!!
I have 7 indoor cats and they all love it No smells from the trays and the poo and pee is easily removable leaving the trays fresh and clean A 40kilo bag lasts me one month I remove the dirty litter and wet area from underneath the litter and rake the top over which leaves the remaining litter clean and dry. Topping up the trays with fresh litter when needed. Much easier on my feet when my furries carry it out of their trays on their feet. Although it appears to be more expensive than other litter I find it is more economicable to use as well as the trays remaining clean and fresh.
Having tried numerous litters including the costly worlds best I finally came across oko range and it far exceeded my expectations when I first bought it. It has excellent clumping, however to remove the large clump you have to be near the litter tray when the cat has finished its business as it covers it over and often breaks the clumps back up. One of the other great advantages I had with this over worlds best was the drastically reduced if not near non existent of tracking after the cat came out the tray. Worlds best left such bad tracking on my carpet and constantly had to clean and use damp clothes to reduce the white powder stains, anyway needless to say Oko have an excellent track record in my opinion. The 40ltr bag from Zooplus is something of a large item to house but the cost of my litter is drastically reduced. Having usually got a 10ltr bag for up to £10 Zooplus immediately saves me nearly £15 just by buying from this site. Plus the benefit we don't have to have smelly cat poo in the bin as it goes straight down the toilet!. It's a win win, I'd recommend everyone to try it. You won't be disappointed.
after my 10ltrbag had finished after 3weeks (2 indoor cats) i thought i would try the extreme classic litter, even though extreme classic clumps alot better than oko plus, i think oko plus is so much better for odour control, after one day of using extreme i can smell the litter box so im sticking to oko plus, love the pine smell of this litter.
other wise i would have given it a very good. i will keep on with it though as it has no horrible smell, appears to last much longer than the sofisicat i used before.
