Modkat Flip Cat Litter Box

One of my boys pees standing up. For years, I have used tote tubs as litter pans because it was the only way to control the mess. But he's aging, and the high sides are becoming problematic. THIS is the first true "litter box" that has ever contained the mess to both his and my satisfaction. Now, if only they'd make a collapsible version that I could fold up for moving (we're a military family)... my life would be complete!

Whoever designed this cat box has for me got it spot on. One of my boys likes to stand up to wee, for years I've had to design all kinds of measures to try to contain this habit, not any more, problem solved. Apart from that this box is so easy to keep clean,very well made,looks modern, clean and hygienic.If I could I'd give it 10 stars!!

I have had this litter box for a few years now and I love it. My young indoor/outdoor cat who was kept in at night sometimes used it. My newly adopted 12 year old indoor cat also uses it with no hesitation at all. It's neat and perfect for cats who dig vigorously. I also have the matching mat which is great and helps hugely with tracking. It is attractive and WAY nicer than an open tray, or at least I think it is. Yes it is expensive but the price has come down and I see Zooplus has it on offer. In my opinion it is definitely worth the investment.

I've already had the other Modkat litter boxes. I really like this one too. There's no proper hood, which wouldn't be suitable for cats anyway. You can set up the lid as needed. Great size for any average cat and a bag that absorbs odours. Works really well. I think the liners are really good and you can regularly change them for hygiene. I just wish there were a few more fastenings for the liner so it stays in place better and looks nicer.

Great build quality, sturdy plastic. Every detail is well thought out: handle for the scoop, removable top, protective film, height, entrance. The cat uses it willingly, there were no issues with adaptation. No more problems with pee-soaked, smelly bathroom tiles (the cat pees standing up). In my opinion, the filter is an unnecessary gimmick, but bonus points for the ball with the poop 😂 I recommend it.

A huge advantage of this litter box is its high, solid walls (not made of several parts that usually let urine leak through) and the option to fold the lid in half or remove it completely (my cats prefer open litter boxes). And I have to admit, the litter box looks really elegant.

It doesn’t look like a regular litter box. The washable liner is excellent. The high entrance and the suede make sure that not as much litter falls out of the box.

Our tomcat pees quite high up, so regular litter boxes meant constant cleaning for us. But that's over now. This toilet is amazing. Quality material, well made, and our tomcat uses it without any issues. We're really happy with it!

I have 2 of these litter boxes. Absolutely brilliant!!! I say brilliant because the litter boxes have high walls, so the cats (I have 3 cats) can’t manage to throw the litter outside; the fact that it’s made from a single piece is a huge plus, I can wash it straight away and it’s super easy; I use it with liners. I wash the liners once a month. They’re very easy to clean. It’s important to put a generous layer of litter in the box, not just 5 cm. Of course, if you only put a thin layer, the urine reaches the liner and then it’s hard to clean. I put in 15 cm of tofu litter so I only need to wash the liners to get rid of the dust.

It’s more expensive than the conventional ones, but the quality of the plastics is also better. It’s very spacious and really well thought out, from the inner bag that makes changing the litter so much easier, to the way the scoop attaches, or even the cardboard box the parts came in, which turns into a toy for the cat.

This ModKat litter box is a GAME CHANGER! The perfect solution for anyone with male cats and limited space. I live in a small apartment with 3 cats, one of which is male. I’ve tried different litter boxes but always had to wash the plastic tray in the shower every week, plus I had issues with pee leaking out the sides. The washable liner and the very high sides have solved all my problems. It’s a bit pricey but honestly, it’s worth it!

These liners are great! Odours don’t stick, they’re easy to clean and replace. It’s really good that the cat can’t scratch the plastic of the litter box and smells don’t linger as easily. I’ll definitely order them again!

This litter box not only looks great but also exceeds all expectations. Really easy to assemble, no smell, and removing waste is super simple since the lid can be opened completely. Perfect for cats that pee standing up. My cat loves it. You can even make a toy out of the box, and it comes with a ball as well. Just brilliant! It would be great if there were more spare parts available, as they’re hard to find.
