LitterLocker® Genie Cat Litter Disposal Bin – White

I've had one for over a year. Switching back to a regular metal bin. You're fooling yourselves with this, you're falling for the marketing that says you need a special bin for your cat and making yourselves dependent on their refill cartridges. It's not good at blocking odours. I still had to use individual dog poo bags every time I emptied the litter box, otherwise too much smell spread – so a regular bin works perfectly fine + I can use ordinary rubbish bags. DO NOT BUY!

Defective product. The closing flap for the bag is missing the springs.

Because of all the edges inside the bucket, the bags keep tearing! I wouldn't recommend buying it to anyone. I'm looking for another solution.

As a complicated bin, it’s okay. Otherwise, unfortunately, not so great! The smell isn’t sealed at all! Despite the laborious and complicated mechanism. Just fancy! Useless! The cartridges with the bags become brittle really quickly! (4-5 balls) You always have to tie a knot to make it airtight. It still stinks! There are bits of litter left in places that are hard to clean! After just one day! By the way, you won’t be able to fit more than 1-2 days’ worth of litter in it... Vegetable bags are cheaper and more airtight.

It's practical that you can operate the bin with one hand, but the shape and the edges are really annoying! When you fill the bag, it's almost impossible to take it out of the bin without it tearing somewhere.

One simple design flaw ruins the whole product – the hole at the bottom. What’s the point of it if, once opened, you can’t close it again??

I bought this product, in the description it says it comes with a refill that should last 3 months, but it’s not in the package, I have to buy it separately.
