LitterLocker® by Litter Genie Cat Litter Disposal

It's good to have a sturdy bin. However, there's no mention of odour prevention. Maybe if everything is normal. My cat currently has an infection and the poo really stinks. I disposed of the poo in the product and closed all the parts. Unfortunately, there was still a strong smell! The entrance is just about okay for the big litter pellets. (I have a large German Longhair.) Litter gets stuck in the hinge. The idea with the bag is quite nice, but very expensive. Opening the cartridge is difficult and it's prone to breaking.

What exactly was wrong with the Locker II that needed changing? Now the locking tabs on the base have broken off (what’s the point of a removable base anyway??). The cutter inside is a real pain, you have to cut from the left and pull the bag out way more than necessary. I actually prefer that there’s no spring in the lid, because you can just chuck the stuff straight through and, for example, diarrhoea doesn’t stick to the bag. Overall, it’s flimsier than the previous model. Wouldn’t recommend.
