Smilla Veterinary Diet Urinary Poultry - cat dry food

I bought this product for my tomcat who has struvite problems, after he had been on Hills Urinary S/D for a few months. But in the first three days, he vomited every time and wasn’t keen on eating them. I’ll try for a few more days to see if he gets used to them, although the kibbles are bigger than the ones from Smila Sterilized.

The product is well tolerated. I mix different brands of kibble to get a more complete blend.

My cat loves this, but not as daily food—more as treats. If it’s in a bowl, he refuses it, but if you give it as treats, he’s all for it.

They like it

The food helps with weight loss and with acute urinary stones (struvite). Unfortunately, my cat isn’t very fond of it.
