The scratching post of the highest point suddenly broke in half when my cat was there. I had for ~2 weeks only. Its a shame as it was his favorite spot!

First ordered this six years ago, turns out its been updated and is now vastly inferior. The base is half the thickness resulting in a less sturdy cat tree. There are now four plush posts which are absolutely useless. There is no rope despite it being listed in the description. The "ball" is stapled on with one inch of string: impossible for a cat to play with. One of the screw attachments came off when assembling. More issues that I can't fit here!

The material covering the scratching post is thin and not soft at all like in the old model. I'm disappointed.
