Kerbl Pet Timber Wall Scratching Post for Cats

The gaps between the individual steps are small; in some places, the cat doesn't have enough room to jump, and elsewhere she almost hits her head on the shelf above the step she's jumping to. After a few tries, she doesn't want to use the scratching post anymore—she can't move on it the way she needs to. We tried moving the top and bottom steps as far as possible and even redrilled outside the original holes. We even supported the shelves without brackets with angle irons, just to be sure. But honestly, it was all for nothing. Completely unusable for a 5-kilo cat. Unfortunately, a waste of money.
