Return to kittenhood
I already had the Olga scratching post, which my two moggies loved but had outgrown, so when I saw this at almost half price I had to get it for them. The post and base went together very easily and securely; and the base is big, so it's very stable in use.
My cats love it. It is big enough for them to chase each other up it, and the top is big enough for one to sit very comfortably (and reach down to bat the other one on the head). They are 4 1/2 now and don't play together as much as they used to, but they play with this Jumbo post just like they did with the smaller one when they were kittens. My little girl also loves to climb up and sit nose to nose with me for a fuss, in fact it's the first thing she does every morning and has become part of her morning routine.
Thanks Zooplus for yet another brilliant item, I can't recommend it highly enough.

Excellent!
My two cats love this. They love climbing to the top of it. It's very sturdy and quite tall, so bigger cats are able to stretch up and have a really good scratch without it falling over.

Works well with a little adjustment
I also initially had the problem that the bit the base screwed into came away from the tube, but I glued it back in and attached two shelf brackets to the base and into the post itself and now my three cats happily run up and down it with no problem.
A good buy!
Bought a while ago for my Bengal type rescue cat, he was perched on top within five minutes of assembly, and really loves it. I've just got a 13-week old Bengal kitten, tiny but fearless, he too loves the post. A bargain, still shows little signs of damage

The cats love it...
I thought I was buying a slightly larger scratching post to the one I already had, but when the box arrived and I unpacked it, I almost cried with laughter.
I'm 6' tall, and now my cat can climb the scratching post and look me in the eye. The cats think its great fun and since it's arrival they've kept their paws off the furniture (and the old scratching post).
The only challenge now is which cat gets to sit on the top as there is only room for one!

Huge! well worth it
The post is much higher than I expected which is great. It is tall and sturdy, so even bigger cats can have fun climbing high without any risk of post falling over. Definitely worth the money.

Much better than my stairs!!
After my two burmese were ruining (using) my stair carpet for scratching, I bought this super large scratch post in desperation!! It is big, but the cats love it and soon were up the top and hanging off the sides! Love it, dont hesitate to purchase if you want to keep your stair carpet! Great value for money. It is sturdy too and balanced.

Best buy ever!
Both cats love this scratching post and can be seen scratching and climbing it throughout the day. Best of all, it is the only thing I've bought - and believe me I've spent a fortune! - that has actually stopped them ripping the carpet on the bottom step and destroying the entire wooden staircase! In comparison to other scratching posts this is bearing up very well indeed.

My four love this thing - please keep selling it!
My four have always had scratching posts, but this is the first one tall enough to allow them to hang their full body length from, and they very obviously appreciate it, because they swarmed up the thing like Special Forces the minute it was put together.
I bought the light grey - a very attractive item, took me all of one minute to assemble, and is very stable even with two full grown male Oriental Shorthairs hanging off it. Will definitely buy again when this one dies.

A hit
I bought this scratch post because a) I was waiting for a nice big pillar to be available and b) to stop my Coonie from destroying my yoga mats. As soon as I'd put the thing up, my cat was already on top of it. The second one was right on its tail but was quite disappointed when there was only space for one. My little ones go up and down the tree on the daily and love sitting on top and even my slightly older Persian gave climbing it a go. She's happy enough scratching for the moment (quite surprising in and of itself as she usually takes months to warm to new scratch posts!)
About to buy my second in case of fire or flood....
I have five rescue cats of indeterminate breed and various ages. They all, without question, love this scratching post - only my very oldest cat (13 when we got this post) occasionally goes back to her favourite armchair 'scratcher' and she can soon be persuaded to move to the new post again! The only boy loves to sit on the top (you come face to face with him when you enter the room) and they all enjoy a good stretching scratch. 'Scatty catty' fun of chasing up and down it means that I too am finding the sisal is gapping a bit, but not sufficiently to worry me yet. Tieing mouse toys near the top to dangle half way down, particularly if they are on elastic, adds to the fun had with this marvelous invention. It is so wonderful I couldn't bear to be without it now - my pets would be bereft - so I'm about to take advantage of the sale to buy another for the cupboard, just in case of fire or flood destroying the first one!

Great
I'd bought 3 scratch posts prior to this and my cat ignored them all as none were tall enough for a good stretch. A friend suggested I have a look on zoo plus - so glad I did. My cat is average sized 4.5kg. She launches herself at this post and loves chasing her way to the top and back down again. It wobbles when she dives onto it but the wide base holds it firm. The base was larger than I anticipated (although I should have realised it would need to be given the height of the post!) this is the best purchase I have ever made for kitty.
Great for Maine Coons
Our 1 year old beast loves this scratch post. He can have a good old stretch, even though he can now reach the top and it's sturdy enough for him to perch his 7kg of body on top without out it wobbling or falling over. An absolute must for Maine Coons & other large breeds.
Perfect for big cats (and little ones!)
My 2 Ragdoll cats (4 years old) love this as they can stretch as they scratch and it's pretty sturdy, wobbles a bit as they're quite aggressive with it! My new Maine Coon kitten also loves it, jumping on it and climbing all the way to the top to sit lookout. It's well used so starting to fray but I'll definitely purchase another.
Best purchase for my Cat!
I bought this after a family member told me to buy one as my sofa was getting ruined. It arrived after only three days after ordering in a large package and it was very easy to assemble. Only a screwdriver was needed.
It is about 4ft so beware of the height. I knew it was going to be this big but friends are shocked. The base is very strong so it can take the weight of the post.
I absolutely love it! The plush material on the scratching post at the bottom is so soft that I couldn't believe the product was only £25! Most things I buy for my pet don't really go with my decor but the lovely light grey really does.
My indoor cat is almost two years old so I was worried she wouldn't take to it. She was a bit scared of it at first but I coaxed her by putting little 'Dreamies' treats in the scratching post grooves.A few hours later she was climbing all over it and doing acrobatics! My sofa hasn't been touched since!
Final comment about this post: It helps my indoor cat to burn her energy at night time. My cat sleeps all day so at night she's always restless and wants to play while I want to sleep. I have had frequent night attacks from my cat by playing with my ankles. Since, I purchased the post, I have had hardly anything. A* Zooplus!

Maine Coon Size
We got this as our 5 month old Maine Coon was becoming too long for our average cats scratch posts. As soon as it was out the box and put together he was straight to the top having a clean. Not only was it his scratch post it was his climbing frame to.

My cats love this!!
Got this scratch post as an early christmas present for my two cats, Lennox and Levi. They both absolutely love it! It's well made and looks fab - the colours even go with the decor in my living room! A great purchase! Just noticed it's been lowered in price yet again, absolute bargain - for the quality, I would have been expected to pay over the odds for this! Have recommended it to all of my cat lover friends (who I believe have already put in orders!)

My cat LOVES this!
After we brought home our gorgeous RSCPCA rescue cat, she was scratching and shredding everything in sight, including my new sofa and my antique dining room chairs. Five minutes after I screwed the scratching post to its base and stood it up, our cat started scratching it without any encouragement from us, and then used it four times in the next hour.
Now when she's running around the house, she loves hurling herself at the scratching post and climbing it as if it were a tree trunk (we actually find this very entertaining). I dangle a toy at the top and she climbs all the way up and sits there.
I positioned it near the dining room chairs and she has stopped scratching them (hooray!). I often find her happily stretching and scratching against the scratching post.
It's a much wider and taller scratching post than the standard ones, so check the dimensions before ordering it. But it actually looks attractive and can fit in a corner. I'm very grateful to Zooplus for saving my chairs and my new sofa and making my cat so happy!
