It’s empty in here!
My cat loves the Beef/Tomato flavour and quite llikes the Chicken/Egg and Duck/Carrot ones. However, she won't touch the Salmon/Spinach one. Shame they're only available in a multipack. I hope Catessy start selling the different flavours separately - I don't want to waste money on several pouches of the Salmon/Spinach one that she doesn't like at all.
Rare to find a value product ALL my cats will eat! Well done - this is NOT an easy task. Pleasing our 11 cats is quite a challenge - and Catessy appear to have cracked it!
My cat was suffering with bad hairloss so thought it would be worth trying grain free, he has been having this, alongside Purizon dried food for around 6 months now and there has been a massive difference, hair has all grown back and he is in great condition, (if a little on the tubby side) he also loves the food so win win situation all round.
Was slightly dubious because it's so cheap, but really glad I did because my cat loves this food. She seems to be really thriving on this and Cosma. Passes the grain intolerance test with flying colours.
Our two Bengals go totally bonkers with anticipation whenever I go near the kitchen! I have never seen cats love food so much as our two love Catessy. They knock each other out of the way to get to the food first. They both love all the flavours of gravy and jelly. Total success!
After having spent £££ on vet's prescription foods and other expensive grain-free or 'sensitive' options, none of which suited my cat with Crohn's disease, I thought I had nothing to lose by trying these. I was dubious as they are so cheap, but this brand seems to be the only food she can tolerate! She's even ill after eating raw or cooked chicken and fish. She still can't eat the gravy version of Catessey - it may be the egg jelly that does the trick with these - but at least we have something now, and it's affordable. Even better, she loves it, which means I can get her to have her probiotics and psyllium too, mixed with the food. A real find!
Goes down pretty well and no sugar means it's good for his teeth (and belly). Only criticism is that the pouches seem to hold a bit less than 100g, so meal times aren't always equal portions unless you open another pouch!
I have been trying all good quality grain free food, and having difficulties.. takes a lot of hard work to make them eat! But this one, no problem, they just love it and clean bowls every time.. All the flavours. Just worries me, I can't see taurine in the ingredients. Is it there, disguised somehow, or is it missing? Does anyone know?
cats seem to like it good for the price
My ginger cat who need grain free food tried for the first time Catessy mixt pack few weeks ago and simply love this food. His favorite is the red packs with beef in tomato jelly. He is sometimes not in the mood to eat all green ones with salmon in spinach jelly and we just think it will be better to make salmon with green beans instead. Anyway its very good food and is grain free :)
My cat loves it
all 4 of my cats absolutely love these
My cats always loved Lidl premium pouches, but I couldn't always get them. One thing that impressed me is that there are no sugars it it, but it contains inulin (a prebiotic fibre) I realised that Catessy pouches are the same thing as Lidl pouches. Save me a drive to Lidl and I can have it delivered to my door (not to mention that Lidl often sell out of the jelly ones)
It's as good as whiskers. So really good value for money. The chunks are quite big though. Not as good as Felix but as good as whiskers. Really good as a standby.
I have 6 cats all that are very fussy and would only eat one make but since ive been buying this they are hooked on all the flavours they love it good price great for them! And now they wont even go to the other food they used to like
My cats eat this but I wasn't impressed that I keep opening pouches to find just gravy and no chunks!
Looks good cats seem to like the one in sauce will buy again
Excellent quality. My cat loves it! I bought this food as a trial and was so nice to see my cat eating it and licking her plate clean.
The cheapest wet pouch cat food we keep in the cupboard, but by no means does the price mean that it isn't appreciated by our two British shorthairs. They eat all flavour varieties quite happily.
Tried the Catessy Chunks in Jelly on my Boy but wasn't sure if he would like these due to the flavoured jelly. Pricked them up with my points for him to try and have not been disappointed, he seems to love them.
My 17 year old cat has been unbelievably fussy over about 5 years wont touch felix or whiskas turns her nose up at most cat food, but I'm really pleased she took to this food straight away. Im hoping she continues to enjoy it this is a good quality food and at a great price.
My cat Tiger always licks his bowl clean and seems to find it really tasty!
My cat enjoys the sauce version, glad to see it back again!! Good value for money. Cat enjoys them, will be back for more.
I hoped that this grain and sugar free variety would be popular, however my cat will eat it but not overly enthused that much in comparison to other grain free foods. It smells and looks a bit grim. I will not order anymore.
All four of my cats love this. At last some cat food that's reasonable price with better quality than what you get from the supermarkets. Also 100g as opposed to the ridiculous 85g that most cat food has now been reduced to. 85g leaves my cats hungry!
My two Siamese are very picky but love this food. One of them has an inflammatory bowel cndiiton which has caused us all lots of problems. He is perfectly fine on this food as it is grain free - and what a great price! Highly recommended.
My cat is very fussy when it comes to wet food, I've spent a fortune on all different brands only to give them away as he won't touch them. The egg and vegetable flavour pouches are all he will eat! He loves them, clean bowls every time.
My 19 year old cat became very fussy and went off his supermarket bought cat food. His health check was fine so I decided to buy various taster packs from zooplus to see if any of them were to his fancy. He chose Catessy over all the others, including expensive options like royal canin (which he refused to touch at all). It might not be food specifically designed for older cats with all those extra fancy ingredients the more expensive brands have, but what good is all that if your cat doesn't eat it? He loves this food and it gives him everything he needs, plus the sauce keeps his fluid levels up.
I was very pleased with the product I decided to try them with it as it was on an introductory offer and the protein content was the same as my usual product. All the cats seemed to enjoy it as the dishes were left clean and with no adverse effects (diarrhoea etc) which can happen quite often when changing brands.
This is grain and sugar free, not convinced the meat quality is the greatest but i guess for what you pay you have to expect that. I feed this alongside other grain free foods and my cats love all the flavours. One of my cats has chronic tummy upsets and has not been affected by this food. I do however only feed it a couple of times a week rather than as their sole food, so this could account for it!
My cat Zebedy had been suffering with colitis/IBD - and a very picky eater. With other supermarket brands, he would just eat the jelly and then have a very upset tummy. This food is fabulous - grain free - natural jelly and he absolutely loves the flavours - and look at the price for grain free and sugar free! I am sure you won't find cheaper for such quality. His sensitive tummy has absolutely settled down.
