It’s empty in here!
I have two male Kats, one short hair and one mid hair. Works on short hair but not the other.
Really pleased with this comb. I have a 10 year old black shorthand who is quite timid and has an aversion to any type of grooming tool but he absolutely loves being brushed with this comb. Takes out lots of the fine fluffy undercoat that causes hairballs. Very happy with my purchase :)
I wish the negative reviews had been there before I ordered this brush for our long-haired cat. I find this brush is good for handling matted bits of fur, but it is not great for giving an overall brush. It doesn't get into the undercoat effectively enough and doesn't seem to collect much loose hair at all. Unfortunately our boy doesn't like the brush much either.
This is almost the same as a furminator I once owned and can't find but much better value. Got loads of loose coat from my GSD and removed the matted moulting lumps underneath too. I'll upload a pic from the first groom.
I have two long-haired cats and thought this will be ideal for removing knots ... wrong! It will however, be ideal for short haired felines.
You'd think I'd never brushed my cat the amount of fur I got off him. I got a ball full enough to fill my hand. No more fur balls!!!!
We are yet to try this against the Furminator and see which is best (it's still in the post), but so far the comb is really good for getting lose hair out and preventing any matting on our furbaby. We use the 6.5cm one.
This comb is amazing it looks so ordinary but the way it works is super. I have 3 cats one long fur and 2 short and for all is amazing. I have a lots normal one at home but this is the best really recommend this for all.
Bella loves being groomed with this. We start on her back, then she rolls over to have her sides & tummy done. It removes so much lose hair.
Cat owner must have this!
I have eight, shorthair cats and up until this year have always managed with a grooming mit. However, for two cats in particular, this year has seen them moult more than usual and they were unable to keep up with it themselves. I went on holiday and had someone come in daily to feed them etc but when I returned the two were beginning to look quite matted. I tried a long, metal bristled brush which helped considerably, or so I thought, but the boy is quite nervy so not so easy. When I got the Furmaster I was amazed at how much it removed and with such ease. My boy seems fine which is a bonus. All of my cats have now been groomed using the Furmaster and now look better that they have for a long time. It will be difficult to restrain from using it too often as most of that cats love it. Brilliant product and I can't wait for my next grooming session.
This has just arrived home a couple of hours ago, once I got it I immediately did a test, picked my old slicker brush and did a few strokes on my cats and my dogs... as I was expecting it did not retain much hair because I used it just 2 days ago... then I tried the Furmaster and it removed tons of hair more than the slicker brush. It is really easy to clean too (easier than the slicker wich is a pain to clean everytime). One side note: I got the medium size it is good for my dogs who are 25 Kg each and for my male cat who's 8 Kg.... but I feel a smaller one would work better on my female cat who's really small weighing only 4 Kg... It can't be used on my 3 months old kitten at all... if zooplus stocks up a small version I'd get it for sure.
We have a large chocolate Labrador who seems to malt all year round. I've tried several brushes & combs but none of them compare to this. It's fantastic :-) I only use it in the garden due to all the fur it removes. The garden ends up with what looks like a sea of brown fur. His coat looks & feels much better. Wish these had been on the market years ago. The handle makes it very easy to use & to be honest the small comb section looks like nothing but it gets right down the fur & removes all the under fluff too. Would highly recommend to any dog owner.
