kooa ultrasonic tick protection

Unfortunately, the device doesn’t work at all. I ordered it for two dogs and both of them were absolutely covered in ticks several times. It actually feels like the device attracts ticks instead. Shame about the money, but it was worth a try to avoid chemicals. Conclusion: I can’t recommend buying it.

We tried it on our dog with thick, longer fur. Within half an hour, we found 7 ticks on his coat. I thought the ultrasound was supposed to repel ticks, not attract them. PS: The pendant was fully charged.

Yesterday we went hiking with our dog. The device was switched on the whole time, but after the trip we still removed 22 ticks from our dog’s fur and skin. Apparently, I misunderstood something – this device doesn’t seem to repel ticks, it actually seems to attract them.

Because of the positive reviews, I gave it a try, but my dog still comes home with several ticks every day.

Doesn’t work anymore, no indicator lights up when charging... This happened right after the first rainy outing...

The ticks latch on like there’s no tomorrow!
