It’s empty in here!
Hard wearing, mine have never been able to destroy one of these chuckit balls; they bounce well and launch well from medium throwers; blue colour means dogs see them better than orange or green etc. Only downside - they do NOT float, so don't throw into rivers, ponds or the sea! Great balls - my 3 Labradors love them and other dogs love to pinch them as the balls squeeze/give in their mouths, without damage to balls or dogs.
My dog loves this ball as does her walking doggy friend .. it flies well, does make a pleasant whistle type noise and yes also bounces great for extra chase fun on landing. Only down side is it doesn’t float as found when my dog ran into the sea with it in his mouth on a beach walk ... dropped it and it sank and rapidly disappeared. Didn’t notice it wouldn’t float and at £5 an expensive loss ... he did love it so much that I’m going to have to buy another
When you get a good long shot or fast shot it whistles. It doesn't whistle with a light throw or a short one. So you need to have a long stretch of space. It does help them to keep focused on where the ball is going.
I have a 2yr old German Shepherd and have been using this the last few months outdoors.. still in great condition whereas tennis balls would have lasted a couple of outings.. so good i'm buying another for him to play with indoors
Despite months of hard chewing from my toy-destroyer GSD, these balls have survived! I use these balls with the launcher but also attach rope and use for tug of war. Even now that there's some splits in the rubber, the ball is still fully functional.
