It’s empty in here!
Dog likes it (20kg pitbull), but that ball cannot handle any chewing. Material is too brittle and pieces will come out easily. For comparsion red medium size KONG is still 100% in one piece after 5 months, but she got pieces out from K9 ball after 5 minutes.
Firstly, the reasons I have rated this just three stars is (1) because of the handling cord, It is a shoelace and not at all durable, my lab chewed through it in just a few moments. I have re-threaded it twice as the 'ball' is still going strong. (2) He lost his first one in a pond, it did not float and we never found it. The internal ring is a super idea as this helps keep the cord in place once his game of tug commences. The neon is superb and easy to track in the grass.
First toy my German Shepherd dog Dexter would bring back, has not destroyed in minutes. Total success , need another in case we lose it but sadly out of stock.
I am only buying another as my husband managed to place the original in a tree. We have a strong chewing lab and if left unattended with this he would destroy it in seconds, however, it is used on walks and put away after. It flies extremely well even if thrown by a child. The random edges of the ball section enable the toy to bounce in a variety of direction, testing your dog's skill of following and problem solving. It gives our dog a satisfying chew reflect. Soft yet durable.
