MAC's Dog Dental Sticks - dog snacks

I can't really take snacks like these seriously as "dental snacks". Everyone should know that you need something tougher, like beef scalp or bully sticks, to actually keep a dog's teeth clean. Still, I like to buy these veggie snacks as a little "treat" in between meals, especially since they're very low in fat. Unfortunately, these MAC's snacks are REALLY soft. Like, really soft. So they were gone in no time. They're more suitable for small or older dogs.

My dog loves these dental sticks, and the ingredients seem more natural and healthier to me than others. As for how well they work on dental plaque, I’ll see over time.

My Maltese male has never eaten treats like these before, he just never liked dental sticks. Now he gets super excited and chews them right away! My second male likes them just as much, both want more and more, but I only give them half a stick each. So far (one week) we haven’t had any problems with digestion or anything like that.
