Bought the large one from my 6 month old lab retriever but after a few minutes he was pulling inch long sharp splinters off it.

Got M size stick for my Bichon frise. Although it is a bit too big for him, he can spend good half an hour a day working on it. No bits that could be swallowed or shredded. This thing is holding up well.
