I've had to stop ordering this dog food because the new formula includes peas, and my dog, a 12-year-old Belgian Malinois, is intolerant to peas. It's a shame, she loved it and it suited her really well (with the old formula).

I don’t understand why they say it’s lamb when it actually contains chicken. I can hardly buy any food for my dog who’s allergic to chicken, because they put it in everything. Even in the hydrolysed version, my poor dog is still allergic.

Same price for a quality that's become mediocre, what a shame! I'll have to find a new brand of kibble.

However, the packaging was changed a few months ago; it no longer has an inner foil lining. Packaging for dry pet food without a foil or metal lining poses a health risk for pets. Without this protection, oxygen, light, and moisture can get into the food, leading to rancid fats, loss of vitamins, and mould growth. A major pet food brand should really know better. I no longer trust this brand.

I am very disappointed with this product. The price has stayed exactly the same, but the formula has clearly been changed for the worse. When a company launches a new formula, customers naturally expect an improvement in quality or performance. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here. The new composition seems inferior to the old one, yet the price hasn’t been reduced. For this reason, I no longer recommend this product. In my opinion, this reformulation is a step backwards.

My dog always used to love eating this food, but recently she’s been leaving it untouched and you immediately start to worry if she’s ill. Now we’ve offered her a different product and, just like that, she’s eating again. Money down the drain, the dog goes hungry. Brilliant—my trust in Zooplus is dropping, and I’ve been shopping here for a very long time.

We’ve been using this food for a long time and my mixed-breed dog always tolerated it very well. With the new recipe, he’s had terrible diarrhoea and vomiting. Unfortunately, we’ll have to look for a different food now.

We had always been really happy with the food, the price, and the packaging. But since the new recipe, the packaging closure has changed. There’s no zip closure anymore, so the bag can’t be easily closed after opening like before. Honestly, I can only call this a real own goal. In my opinion, it’s driven away a lot of customers just to save a few cents! Really disappointing, but we’ve now switched to a different food!

The new formula contains noticeably less meat. My mix, 17 months old, ate it on the first day, but on the second day only reluctantly and then vomited it back up undigested after 3.5 hours. Other food was eaten and digested without any issues. I tried again on days 3 and 4, but it was completely refused. After that, I gave away the rest of the bag and bought a different food. The old formula was eaten and tolerated without any problems. Read the ingredients.

The new formula is a total fail—one of my dogs won’t eat it at all, and the other one throws up every day after eating. Now I have to start looking for new food for my 14-year-old dogs.

The price has stayed the same, or even gone up, for a product that's much lower quality. The old recipe had 40% fresh chicken and now there's only 25%. It's unacceptable, I'm switching brands.

That, or something similar, is written on every cigarette packet. After the change in packaging – getting rid of the ZIP closure (they probably saved about 1.5 cents per pack) – this food can be deadly for any dog if you don’t have a way to lock it away from them. It’d be nice if the manufacturer would comment on this nonsense. Otherwise, I’d give the food 5 stars.
