It’s empty in here!
We tried using RC hypoallergenic food and it didn't really work for our dog. This seems to work much better for us. I have to add oils to the food to reduce allergic reactions. But otherwise, it works pretty well. And my dogs also really enjoy the taste.
My Staffy Lola has had skin rashes on her belly for years, as soon as we switched her food she has had no more problems and a lovely glossy coat. We had to adjust to the extra pounds we spend every month as the food is more expensive but definitely worth it. Happy dog!
Zooplus cannot be beaten for price and delivery. Would highly recommend
I've tried all complete dry dog food for my three yr old boxer Daphne and usually she spits it out or just leaves but I tried James wellbeloved duck kibble complete dry food couple of wks ago and she loves it and it's all natural which is a big bonus would recommend to any dog owner
Very good food - have a collie who had skin and anal problems - but no more :-) - coat is lovely too. She's also allergic to rice so can't feed her most of the range so have to feed her "with veg" varieties but these only come in smaller bags!! Why??? 15kg bags please!!!!!
We have used James Wellbeloved lamb and vegetable for our rottie for the past 3 years as she has had problems with food allergies and on researching, found this food to be good. We now have no problems with her and she really enjoys her food.
I took my staffie/rotweiller cross to the vets for her booster jabs at Pets at Home and she nearly emptied the building!! What a smell??! To say she had wind problems was an understatement. That combined with very loose stools made poop scooping and being in confined spaces with her a nightmare. My vet recommended James Wellbeloved and we haven't looked back since. She happily eats the lamb and the turkey flavours and I no longer have to explain to people that "its the dog"! She eats only this now and we even use it as treats when we're training. I tried more than twenty different types of food (wet & dry) before finding this one and am now hooked, we'll be sticking to James Wellbeloved from now on. It's a bit pricer than some, but worth every penny.
I have a 20 month flat coated retriever who was on hypoallergenic food from the vets for over 6 months. Tried him on several different protein sources (pork, fish, chicken etc) and they all resulted in instant stomach, skin and behavioural issues. Tried him on this and bingo - no reaction! It's not cheap but its a lot better value than the food from the vets! He loves the taste and I use it as training treats as well. So if you dog is sensitive you should certainly give this a try.
I tried this cereal free food with my dog, who loved it, but it seemed to make her hyper so had to stop. A change in food and she's back to normal. Not happy with the added salt either, JWB never used to include salt!
Like any Cocker Spaniel, Elsie will eat just about anything - but this seems to be her favourite.
Following skin and tummy troubles we were advised by our vet to take our 10 month old Springer off the junior food and straight onto this. 1 year on, we haven't looked back. Recently adopted a 9 year old Golden Retriever, with skin issues and severely imaciated and he's doing really well on this too (along with pouches of JW puppy food to build up his fat reserves) - Up from 23kg to 28.5kg so far with 7kg to go before he hits normal weight for his size :-)
I don't love it, I don't hate it. We have three dogs - one is doing quite well on this food, one is doing fine (not amazing, not poorly), but the third's coat quality has really declined since starting on this product (has checked out fine at the vet). We'll be switching to a different food.
hi i have one dog allegic to beef & chicken & another allergic to cereals so the turkey & lamb cereal free is about the only food i can give them both but why only 10kg bags? bigger bags please!
My giant schnauzer loves turkey & veg but I agree we need bigger bags. I also feed him Markus muhle and he loves both equally
bit too expensive, and make bigger bags available please
I have five dogs and find the 10kg bags go nowhere. All my dogs love this food, but it is costing me a fortune! I also feed them Markus Muhle as they really enjoy it too and it comes in 15kg bags which last longer and is better value.
My golden retriever was tormented with anal gland problems, and itchy skin.I started her on JWB turkey & vegetable kibble, and very soon the itchy skin problem was gone, and so was the terrible anal gland problem.I was delighted that she was no longer afflicted by these health problems, and it was all thanks to JWB food.I highly recommend! this food.
I've been feeding my allergy ridden bullmastiff this product for many years now. He is in the best condition ever. For a 10 stone, nearly senior dog he is extremely fit and healthy. Only wish they sold it in 15kg bags. He goes through the 10kg too fast.
This food is cereal and grain free. My German Shepherd liked this food mixed with tinned meat. My only criticism about the 15kg bags is by the time I got more than half way down the bag, the food smelt off. My dog began leaving it as it smelt so bad. I had to throw away 3kgs of food. Only buy a big bag if you are going to get through it quickly.
I was feeding my dog Orijen for over a year, but he never really settled into it (loose stools and an occasional upset stomach). This is supposed to be a great food, but was just too rich for my dog I suppose. So I looked around for a grain-free alternative, and 4 weeks in, this Turkey flavour James Wellbeloved is going down really well! His coat is a little softer, his breath fresher and everything else has firmed up nicely :) Happy dog, happy owner, and a happy wallet - it's a bit cheaper per feed when you take into account bag weight and daily feeding guide.
