Trixie metal run
This is without doubt the best thing I have ever bought for my guinea girls! I actually bought the run elsewhere about a year or two ago and I am in no way disappointed! I bought the largest available for my two girls and I finally have a run that I feel they are totally safe in. Before this I was using a homemade run, and I really was worried leaving them out for the day with something without a secure roof, I have two cats and one in particular is a real mischief so I didn't dare leave them alone in it. This is great as it has its own roof and I feel happy leaving them out all day in this. I'm really confused by the previous review saying their guineas escaped because the spacing in the bars is about two inches wide and I can't imagine that happening at all. I really can't recommend this highly enough, when the weather starts to get nice I set it up in the garden and leave it there til pretty much winter and it is totally up to the job. I'm considering getting a second and combining the two. I really really encourage anyone considering it to buy one, its been perfect for my two girls.

not just for guineas and bunnies!!!
i had a broody hen that needed a cosy and comfatable environment for her as well as her eggs/chicks when they hatch. the house sits in the run so that the mother hen can take her chicks out as well as keep them warm at night (or if she wants a afternoon rest) it has enough space for quite a while until they get too big in which case they roost on top!!!

Ginger + Minty+Parsnip+echo+Kiwi+Zinc+Sophia love this
My two guinea pigs love this run what are some people talking about my two piggies can't escape don't bother with the sun shade I used old towles which work equally well don't buy the small one to small ANYTHING especially large rabbits I brought it AGAIN ONCE for old Parsnip and another for the 4 girls so overall this has made seven piggies happy I've even seen my two other pigs Cinnamon and Tabasco who have the same size run in wood eyeing it up.

Trixie metal run
This is fab! I have added it onto my exsisting run for more play space and when the weather is nice, I put it on the grass. A bit heavy to move by yourself, but it is a large pen! l worth the money although I wouldn't leave buns in it overnight.

Fabulous Metal Run
We got the biggest size of Trixie outdoor metal run after getting the classic wooden 6ft x 3ft run and it rotting through but there is no comparison with the metal run. This is SO much bigger, so much head room for our binkying rabbit, so many doors for easy access, so much space and seems roomier because you don't have the lumps of wood holding it all together. Our rabbit loves it, it is the best we have found next to letting her out and running around the garden. You do need 2 people to move it but we found you need 2 people to move the wooden one anyway, so no hardship there. If you want a happy bunny, this is the one to go for! Popcorn (our rabbit) recommends it!

i think it was very good for its price my bunnies love it
excellent rabbit run
Bought this for our 2 dwarf rabbits, it is very sturdy and is easily moved onto fresh grass. It gives them plenty of space to run about and is easy to fix a rain cover to if we want to. There are plenty of big openings and some small ones too (they are still darn tricky to catch, but that's not the fault of the run!). Would recommend.

This product is absolutely brilliant. There is so much room for my rabbits and all their toys and tunnels. It is a solid construction and really easy to assemble. I would recommend it to anyone!

Perfect for your indoor cats security
My two indoor cats Solar and Pawpi love this outdoor enclosure, which we secured to the front of the Trixie Natura hutch. It allows them freedom to go outside, whilst being safe and secure.
The structure is sound and pegs are provided for securing to the grass. Recommended.

The most flexible run on the market
I had real trouble finding a run that I considered large enough for my two Dwarf French Lops. The runs that are integrated into wooden hutches are simply NOT large enough for even the smallest bunny. Rabbits need oodles of space to bounce around in, stretch and binky. I bought two of the largest size of this run and linked them together and it works brilliantly. I don't use the top of the run as mine can't jump out of it (yet!) and they only use it as a daytime lawn run - this means I can use it to cover a larger area of lawn. I do not think it is secure enough for a permanent run as I don't think it is fox proof. I certainly wouldn't risk it as it is quite flimsy. The built in doors are very useful as are the slide up hatches. It is very easy to move around and stores totally flat when not in use. The slide in rods, for securing the corners, bend easily but if you take a little care, its no problem. For the money, this is a brilliant run. I'm saving up for another one so I can make their area even larger out on the lawn!
Reviewed a year on
Hi
I bought the larger of the two runs for my netherland dwarfs a year ago. I use it for my dwarfs on a nice day as they are house rabbits. In response to the people who say it is difficult to catch your rabbit....what would you expect? Its a big pen, either open the end and climb in or train your rabbits to come to you. As its self assembly and not rigid, it is difficult to move yourself but it can be done in small shuffles. My pen has been outside all year at a seaside location (salt normally destroys everything!)the pen is not rusty apart from the clips for the small hatches on either side. The chains and clips became stuck and rusty within a month but they are easy to replace. Overall I would recommend this product as mine has survived the winter gales, snow and rain, and more importantly has provided a large safe area for my bunnies to enjoy.

Love it! But have a request!
I really do like this run. It's very practical and folds down nicely when you're not using it. Loving all the doors, but find that, as I connect a lot of runs together (I have two of these and other ones), it needs a door or hatch on both the long ends, not just one, so that I can create a really long space for the animals, or to have a hutch at both ends (for guinea pigs). The only other problem is as I have to move along the grass on my own a lot, the four connecting rods scratch deep lines into the lawn, although I really like how easily they function otherwise. Maybe the makers could find a way of more easily connecting two up together as well as I do this myself with various bits of wire and bricks but it could be more secure.

great for rabbits
I use my wooden house in the run, the rabbit jump on top to relax and go in it to hide when I'm going to put them away !! this is good as the lid opens so they are stress free to be caught, just pop up the ramp open the lid and no stress for me or rabbits :) I have one in each run here at my rabbit rescue, thank you.

Would buy again
My bunnys loves it and I don't need to worry anymore if they are outside it starts raining and I am at work. Easy to assemble.
Great house at a great price
I bought one of these for my rabbits but found it was great for guinea pigs too. If you put it in the run then guinea pigs can go underneath it too, which they love. And rabbits can jump on top of it. It's easy to clean out with the roof on hinges, which is handy. And overall it's very good.
It'd be a good size for cats too, if they live outdoors and dog kennels are too big.

Great for other pets too! (Besides rabbits and guinea pigs).
I brought this product, as one of my hens have hatched 5 baby chicks out and wanted some temporary housing for them, I had a rabbit ark but not big enough for mother to flap her wings! So I put some posts in the garden with wire around it. The Trixie Natura Small Pet House was put in a very good size mother and chicks will fit in when they're 6-8 weeks old a very good quality pet housing product. I will be buying more for my Serama bantam trio and other smaller poultry and quail.
