My chinchillas love it, the best cage you can ever had. ❤️
it was a bit difficult to assemble and i was concerned that my girls [i have several] would fit through the bars but it was perfect! fit all of their new accessories in and is far bigger than their other cage despite looking slightly smaller. they absolutely love it however be careful as my girls are quite big. i wouldnt be able to have any babies in the cage as they would most definitely fit through the bars but thats not a problem for me as all of my rats are adopted!
I got this cage for my five medium-sized male rats. Although it's only bigger than their old cage by a few inches, it feels so much more spacious. The castors are a life-saver - no more dragging the cage into the living room to be cleaned! The grill that tops the pan is something to watchout for with small toes and feet, however that was solved by inserting a sheet of vinyl floor and topping with fleece. Easy to put together too - on my own I got it done in just 45 mins!
Upon purchase I was very weary as the price was so low, I wasn't sure what quality to expect. But i am really pleasantly surprised! It's perfect! I was even surprised with seeing that you get the contents of what is in the cage in the display picture too! ... amazing price and will definitely purchase from here in the future.
Our two ferrets love this cage they have lots of room to explore and adventure and it was easy enough to put together.
this cage is very sturdy, big and easy to build! It’s fantastic for the money but not for baby rats or small rats. OR EVEN SMALL ANIMALS LIKE HAMSTERS ETC; they can fit right through the bars- ive spent a fortune trying to make this safe for them with wire. Would be perfect for a large rat or other bigger animals.
Perfect sized cage for my male ferret and soon to be ferret friend, has plenty of levels with 2 full sized ones and 3 smaller ones but I've been changing them about to give him some variety and new fun. The holes in the levels are the perfect size and my boy of 1.7kg can fit threw with ease and I have attached his flexi tubes threw the holes for a change from the ramps. Very easy to get into with the large doors for cleaning, bedding changes, feeding and litter scooping.
Hi, I was so excited when I saw the reviews for this cage! I ordered one for my 2 female rats. It arrived and was well packaged and really good quality. However!!! ........ My 2 rats could easily fit through the bars!! It is a fantastic cage, but please be careful of escapees if using for rats!
The cage itself is a very sturdy, easy to assemble cage. However, I ordered this for my two female baby rats and they could walk right through the bars. Do not make the mistake I did, if you're getting this for a rat ensure it is a large male rat, would be ideal for larger animals!
My ferrets are very happy in these cages (I have 3 joined together) lots of space and places to hang hammocks ect... Would definitely recommend them :D
This cage is so much bigger in person the photos make it look smaller can't wait till I move out and actually buy my rats to put in it very pleased with this cage
Me and my rats love this cage. Easy to put together, lots of room. Nice wide opening door to each level. Easy to clean out. I have 3 rats in here and still plenty of room for more. Bars do have wide gaps so wouldn't put little ones in, but it's great for mine that are about a year old. Am thinking of getting another when my daughters rats grow a bit bigger
Had the cage around 2 months and my degus loved it's just the pair on them so a perfect size but today one of them figured out how to escape by finding a slightly larger bar and squeezing through... I still love and recommend the cage just be careful of any escapes !
Bought the cage for my 2 rats which I had rehomed and didn't like their existing cage. The boys are a fair size and seem to love the cage. My daughter and I even managed to put it all together and were impressed with the quality. Very sturdy. Size is bigger than I expected too which was great. The boys are exploring all the levels and also love climbing the bars. An excellent cage for fully grown rats and plenty of space for 2 or more in There!
I have only just bought this cage and cannot believe what great value for money it is. It is really sturdy and well made. Easy put together. Even I managed to do it all by myself. I am using it without the wire floor for my ferret and the only downside is the first ramp is too short so propped up on a brick so it isn't too steep. My ferret loves it. Still can't believe the price!
Brilliant cage, Super good quality and easily accessible for cleaning etc. plenty of space! Few problems with the order, however they assured me this doesn't happen a lot. I ordered this three story cage but the middle section didn't arrive with it and one of the shelves was chipped, let zooplus know and they offered me £20 to buy replacement at local store or wait 2-3 weeks for the manufacturer to send me out parts. I chose the latter and after 4 weeks there replacement parts had not arrived, contacted zooplus again, they said the manufacturer could not send parts and had only just told them. They then proceeded to offer me a full refund for the cage or a whole new cage. Again I chose the latter and now I have a three story cage in perfect condition and a two story cage in perfect condition. so I am now very happy and impressed at how understanding and helpful they were.
Cage is emazing! Big, nice and everything but if you think you can buy this cage for rats i tell you - you can not -. I bought this cage for rats and what i can tell, they have no problem for escape from cage. gap is to big
GREAT CAGE EASY TO CLEAN AND MOVE AROUND WOULD HIHLY RECCOMEND THIS CAGE ********************************************************************
I am so pleased with my purchase, as I have always ever used the ferret nation type cages for chinchillas. It was super easy to put together and love that the height of the cage can be adjusted with extensions, Brilliant idea! So after twenty minutes putting it together, the hard part was placing ledges in, as chinchillas aren't allowed plastic the cage needs improving, so we spent the rest of the day building ledges and it's incredible! Definitely an upgrade from their last cage 🙂
I brought this cage as one of my ferrets was unhappy in his smaller cage. All I can say is it's fantastic I chose this one as I have the larger one for another 3 ferrets and they love it! And now my once grumpy Henry is now happy and enjoying his new space. Was easy to put together only taking me 15-20 minutes. Definitely a cage I recommend. Especially for ferrets! Thankyou zooplus from Me and the gang. (Henry, Jinx, Dora and Cooper)
I bought this cage last month. Pleased with actual cage, however the trays are an absolute nightmare to remove, clean and then try to replace again, cut my fingers on several occasions trying to remove them. Doors are not wide enough to access properly. Great price but personally wouldn't buy again. I
My ferrets love this cage, it so roomy and loads of places for hammocks, snuggies, litter trays and boxes. Also great size levels so if needed can be sectioned off. (as I'm currently doing) Easy to clean. Couldnt have the wire floor for my fuzzies so just raised the tray. The wheels/balls arent very good though, very hard to push/pull along. But other than that great value for such a large cage. Jinx, Cooper, Henry and Dora (aka Dinky) thankyou for selling such am awesome cage :)
Only complaint though is the curved edges at the top of the cage. The bars are slightly wider and my degus have managed to get out. Now I've tweaked the cage, so far they haven't got out (touch wood)
Ordered this cage on the Monday afternoon & it was delivered on the Friday afternoon, easy to put together with good instructions, very solid cage & totally worth the £75.99 I paid for it ( I had a 5%discount code) amazed by the size & the food bowl & water bottle are a really nice touch, not keen on the metal grid on the bottom & thinking of covering it with self adhesive floor tiles & a option on the colour of the floor panels would be nice as I wouldn't personally have chosen blue.

ordered this and it was delivered very fast quite easy to set up also. its fntastic product and is very very big and has option of setting it up smaller. we hve 3 rats who sometimes bicker nd it is quite easy to mke the cage into 3 very large sections which is perfect for us if the need time out (each section is still about as big as a large indoor rabbit cage) so 3 x this. and also this is amzing value for money when you compare it to instoor prices this cage would cost 3 times more.
i got it for a pet chipmunk and he loves it! its very big and my pet chipmunk is very happy! i recommended it for hamsters, squirrels, chipmunks, chinchillas, degus and other small rodents
This cage is absolutely fantastic and worth every single penny I paid for it. The likes of Amazon, Ebay and local pet shops were selling this exact same cage for between £99 and £150 so I'm glad I found Zooplus. The cage itself is huge, much bigger than I expected and it comfortably houses my 4 adult male ratties. They're very happy in their new home. The accessibility that the doors provide is also brilliant as it makes spot cleaning regularly so much easier. :)
Easy enough to set up, bars too wide for my young rats so they can escape, having to use temporary housing for them until they grow a bit more. Gutted really because the cage is described as suitable for rats, but not toungsters apparently. Other than that, no faults with the cage.
Brill cage, couldn't ask for anything more for this price. Will probably buy another if I get more rat's
This is a really robust, well made cage. It was easy to put together and I'm really impressed with the quality at this price. Ideal for chinchillas etc although I got it for my two girl ferrets, who seem happy with it. It's ideal size for them. I didn't use the wire tray in the bottom, as I don't think it's comfortable for their feet, but the plain tray is fine. My only criticism is the ladders are a bit slippery and could have done with more raised ridges to help grip. Otherwise, love it and recommend to anyone.
I bought the first one from a shop for a pair of chins. It was much more expensive than at zooplus, nearly double. The shelves are plastic. I replaced them with untreated kiln dried pine, a slight DIY hassle but worth it to know that my chinchillas aren't going to get internal problems from chewing them. The three doors provide very easy access to all parts of the cage, and the slide-out litter tray is very convenient. I don't use the metal grille bottom since it would be bad for the chins' feet. The fact that it is on wheels is very nice, since it's easy to clean under and behind. The quality of the wheels is fine: no squeaking, no sticking. The construction is sturdy. The metallic paint job does not wear or chip off in the slightest if the chin chews the bars, which is much better than previous cages I've owned (e.g. metal laminated in plastic). Anyway, my chins started fighting after a few months and I had to separate them. I liked the cage so much I bought the exact same one (didn't even consider buying anything else), but this time from zooplus. They said 5 days delivery and it came in 5 business days (7 days elapsed). DPD phoned in advance to confirm a date/time and reminded me by text. It arrived adequately packaged, with the original boxes housed inside another bigger box, with air cushions around all sides. There was no damage to the item. Now both my chins have mansions, which makes them and me really happy! A really great cage in my opinion. Just don't use the metal grille at the bottom, and replace the plastic shelves with untreated kiln dried pine if you see your chins chewing them.
Purchased this last year for our Chinchilla, Boris. The cage we rescued him from was a badly designed, cruel item 😞 He has LOADS of space now with lots of areas to utilise. We have different forms of entertainment and foraging opps on each level and there is plenty of room for a corner toilet and sand bath (both of which were purchased from Zooplus) on the bottom/floor level. The three doors offer plenty of access and the no fuss pin locks are a really sensible and safe alternative to the spring loaded trap door on the old cage (Boris broke his wee arm in this when trying to prise it open😢). It is a huge cage however so takes up a large part of our small house. We have it mostly parked in front of a cupboard door in the hall because the castors make it easy to move and manoeuvre. We can also easily wheel it through to other rooms to give him a new view every now and then😄 I see the price has gone down since I purchased our one so I'd say it's defininately good value for money!
I love this cage. I bought the bigger one first and I knew what I was buying. I bought it for my 3 female rats but they still need to grow as they can get through the bars. I now use it for one ferret until the rats grow bigger.
I bought this cage for my 3 degus. When i was setting up the cage the back centre piece wouldnt fit into the holes corectly as it was not wide enough to reach the holes. I just had to bend the bar a little bit which was hard as it was a strong metal. I could have sent it back but couldnt be bothered with hassle. The cage was very easy to build and didnt take long. The shelves are made of plastic which my degus are already biting through, i will need to eventually replace them with wooden shelves. I need to use the flat tray and not the wired rack. I was expecting the tray to be metal but it is made of plastic and will probably need to be replace at some point with a metal tray. The wired rack tray is made of metal which was good but i feel they should use metal material for the flat tray also. The cage is an amazing size and great value. If these alterations could be made then it would really be CAGE PERFECT. lol I ♡this cage and my degus too :) I would love for the flat tray to be made of metal as i will worry my degus may escape.
GOOD POINTS: Cage is huge for the price. Go to your local pet shop and pay twice as much for a cage twice as small. Wheels on the bottom are really handy and not too difficult to put together if you have an extra pair of hands. The cage can also be separated into two sections by putting three of the shelves together on one level, however it can't be split in half but over 2/3 and 1/3 of the space split. BAD POINTS: The base arrived slightly cracked. Not enough for an escapee but still pretty disappointing. When putting the cage together one of the bars didn't align properly with the slotting hole, so it had to be hammered to bend into place. The base of the cage is very shallow, and you end up with bedding scattered around outside the cage. The spacing of the bars is fine for larger animals such as ferrets, however I'm using it for 6 month old male rats and it only JUST keeps them in. One of them can fit his head through but haven't had any escapees yet. Wouldn't be appropriate for young rats or probably small female rats of any age. Would recommend purchasing your own water feeder as the one that comes with it is fiddly and awkward.
I was a bit sceptical when I ordered this cage because I've had some problems with price and size before with other cages, but this cage is absolutely amazing, it's the perfects size for my little fuzzbutt and everything was in perfect condition. The assembling part was easy and quick and I didn't even break a sweat! When we finished the decorations and the other things, my fuzzy was so tired after all the play in the packing boxes he went right to sleep in his cage. He has stopped showing cage stress and is a lot less aggressive. For my part, I didn't have to worry about time because the delivery was very good, it was quick and there where no problems. Everyone did their job very well, and I am very satisfied. Well done and thank you. Sincerely, very happy owner:csenge Fuzzbutt: joker.
Got this for my 2 ferrets and they love it! Easy to assemble once you've read the instructions and the best part about the packaging is.... Our two had tons of fun for a few hours playing in the boxes haha! Highly recommend to any small animal owner and brilliant value for money :)
I got this cage for my two ferrets. It is huge!! Which is allows them space to move and play. The doors are big enough you can stick your head and arm in so that makes cleaning easier as well as the fact the plastic levels are hydrophobic. Assembling was simple when we looked at the instructions but it looked very daunting when we were unwrapping the packaging. I would suggest having at least two people to assemble the cage as it can be abut overwhelming by yourself. Highly recommend.
Bought this for my three 6 month old male rats, as they had outgrown outgrown their Savic Zeno 2. For the price I payed, I feel this cage represents excellent value for money. Delivery was very fast, my cage arrived by dpd and was well packaged and undamaged. The cage is brilliant. Simple to put together (managed it all by myself) and the build quality is solid. The design is attractive and looks good in my living room. When it comes to cages I cannot stress the importance of good access - tiny doors become frustrating ting fast. Access is superb in this cage. The doors are large enough for me to get in to clean and redecorate the cage easily. The cage is on wheels which makes hoovering behind and underneath a breeze. The cage comes with many platforms, but I have only used a few, preferring instead to use hammocks and ropes to encourage climbing. However they will come in useful as my rats get older and less agile. It's also possible to section off part of the cage using the platforms, which is handy if you need to temporarily separate an animal from the group for any reason. The bars at the base of the cage might be unkind on ratty feet, but you can either remove the bars and move up the plastic base, or cover the bars with fleece as I have opted for. The lack of a deep base also means that it's not possible to use substrate unless you mod some sort of a rim round the base of the cage to catch loose bedding. As I'm using fleece at the bottom I have provided the rats with a large digging box to allow for foraging. The only draw back with the cage that I feel is an issue for me is that the bar spacing is not ideal for rats. If you have babies or female rats they will easily slip through. If I ever decide to add young rats to my mischief then I will have to buy mesh and attach it to the cage. However my 6 month old rats are fine in the cage and have not been able to get past the bars. My rats have been enjoying having the space to play, and there is lots of room for extra toys and cage decor that I couldn't fit into my old cage. Happy rats, happy owner, all in all very pleased with my purchase!
