It’s empty in here!
Very nice looking, not to say gorgeous. Very stabile, ofcourse we secured it with a wall bracket, but not wobbly at all. Every level is in use, with little help of catnip spray. Good solid tree for a small place!
This cat tree is lovely to look at in any corner space but totally unsuitable for adult/large cats. It's too narrow and tall and I felt that the main bed on top made it a bit top heavy for the base to hold properly. It wobbled furiously any time the cats attempted to climb up to the top. My advice to anyone buying a tree for the first time is to buy the La Digue ll tree on this site...very strong and sturdy...and easy access for the cats.
My four months old kitten loved it instantly! He jumped into the box and started playing with the dangling toy before I even unboxed it! He was all over it while we were assembling it and has been using it for play, climbing, scratching, lounging and sleep ever since! Could not be happier with the purchase. We placed 20kg weights into the bottom area for stability instead of screwing against the wall for now, will reconsider as he gets bigger.
This was the best purchase - my bengal cat has never been more excited! She absolutely lost her mind when it arrived (in 2 days by the way- amazing service!) and has hardly left the bed at top since! It's tall, which is excellent for a cat who likes a bit of height but definitely sturdy and really doesn't take up a lot of room either. Excellent quality, I absolutely recommend :) delighted!
Arrived really quickly and quite pleased with the quality of this post, my cats were too eager to try it out that the one was climbing on it before it was built, once built, it is lovely and high, sturdy, love the cushion at the top, bigger than I thought which was a bonus, woukd recommend this totally
I got this to give my two cats some extra sleeping options. My kitten has no trouble climbing all the way to the top and likes to sleep in the highest bed, whereas my large adult cat likes the first platform. Both make use of the posts to scratch on. I have it tucked in beside a wardrobe in the bedroom. It hardly takes up any floor space at all. The whole thing feels sturdy and I don't worry about it falling over.
I bought this for my 5 month old cat. she loves it. the fabric is very good quality, its thick plush really soft. its well made and built to last. design is great. good size yet doesn't take up much room. very pleased I bought this one. I highly recommend. its a tough job to find a cat tree better than this one. its the best.
Great tree, surprisingly doesnt take up much room!
My two bengal boys absolutely love this cat tree!! Great for snoozing and spying on us below from the top level! And also looks great and stylish in our living room too and fits perfectly into our . Considering the price I think it's great value for money. Only criticism is the two balls for playing with came off after one day but think this is evidence how much fun the kittens were having on their new tree!! Would definitely buy again!!
Very good size u can have a cat tree if you dont have a lot space or you live in small apartaments. So iam so happy i love catherine cat tree thank you for best value.
Great quality, very sturdy. The cats were so excited that they "helped" to put it together. They both love it (Oscar also liked the big box it came in, but he generally likes any box). They are playing with the attached toys, but I'm not sure how long they will be attached for as one chews through the elastic of any toy. This is in no way a reflection on the product or quality. It fits lovely into a corner making it great for smaller spaces. All in all we are all happy with it, humans and cats
I wanted to replace the La Digue cat tree and thought I'd try something new so bought this the Catherine tree. Easy to up but the my two cats just could get to grips with it. They could not get up on it. I lifted one up on to the top platform and watched her struggle to try to get down again. It is a very tall tree and (2meters nearly) and she was very uncomfortable and tried to slide down to the next platform and just about fell out of the tree. Not good. It also leans forward a lot with the heaviest top bed and the one screw holding it, seems inadequate for the job. The tree is not sturdy enough or heavy enough to support the top platform well. After a month or so with little use I have now taken it apart and made the top bed/platform into a bed that sits on the floor next to the tree and have removed the next highest platform so the tree now only has the barrel at the bottom and the next platform where I've put a cushion as it's hard (with flimsy edges that bend quite easily if pushed.) I also found the plush comes off much to easily, very bad quality clearly compared to other trees. Yet this tree is more expensive?! I will now order the much more sturdy and practical (and well loved) cat tree La Digue, wish I had not tried this tree at all, waste of time and money. The cats have still not used it even though it now sits next to a dresser so at least they can get on it if the wanted to...
I've only had this tree for a matter of hours but the boys already love it. It was easy to assemble, despite the cats already climbing all over it, and it seems sturdy enough. No problems for either of them getting to the top level and now one is tucked up asleep right at the top. Would definitely recommend.
I hesitated getting this as I wasn't convinced a tree with such a small footprint would be secure at the top being nearly two metres high. I shouldn't have worried. It's got a great robust build and my big Birman boy can pounce on the top without it wobbling. The two holes in the base are a bit too small for my cats but make a nifty place to stash their toys. I'll be buying another of these as I live in a converted apartment with lots of corners and high ceilings. It looks really stunning when placed next to the Natural Home III cat tree.
We had purchased a shorter cat tree for my kitten when we got her last December, but as we also got a puppy, she could also climb up and after a while my cat was getting a tad frustrated as she wanted her own space, so we purchased this one and it's absolutely perfect, the cat has lots of space and can have her own chill time, we also feed her on the high ledge too instead of on the kitchen surface, cause again the dog was helping herself to her food.
I have 11 mogsters who have been through many cat trees, this is by far the best! Really easy to put together and absolutely solid. The nest at the very top is a particular favourite. The other platforms are generously sized so the bigger puss cats can get nice and comfy without fear of falling off. It fits very neatly in the corner so it doesn't feel like a huge cat tree and doesn't look obtrusive at all
I had to encourage my cat to get to the top but ever since then that's where she resides. It's her grooming spot sleeping spot everything! She only comes down to visit and get food, water etc
This is my fourth cat tree and by far the best! Very sturdy and beautifully designed value for money I must buy another!!! Ordered on Saturday and arrived on Tuesday i recommend Zooplus to anyone that will listen.
All my friends told me that cat trees aren't worth it but all the TV shows I've watched drilled in the importance of having their own vertical space. This one is perfect and doesn't take up the whole room like a lot of cat trees do. The bed at the top is so soft and comfy I wish I could curl up small enough and sleep in it. My cats love it too.
Bought it for my 4 months old girl who we are trying to keep indoor so I thought it was just fair to buy her a tall indoor tree! She loves it and started climbing on it while I was still assembling! She loves sitting on the top bed although I still don't know if she'll be able to come down! Now I need to get used to it because I am too scared she can fall and hurt herself! Ah! anxious mother! :D
I got this for my 5 year old boy who, due to various house moves lately, has become an indoor cat due to no fault of his own. Also, my boyfriend has a dog so I thought it would be a safe haven for my kitty to escape to. It was easy to put up and it fits lovely in the corner. It's tall, but it isn't wide, so it doesn't take up a huge amount of space. He isn't the bravest of cats but even he was up and about on it within the week, helped by me leaving treats on it so he was rewarded whenever he did brave it. Now a few weeks later he uses it for all the reasons I wanted to, and he particularly enjoys the scratch posts which he had a lot of beforehand. Never had a cat tree before but he soon got the hang of the jumping up and down. It is a little steep so would be best next to a sofa or another surface your cat is allowed on so your they can jump from that to the middle ledges. Also, my cat hasn't braved the top top ledge yet (that I've seen anyway, but the treats have gone so he has been there at least once!), however I think he'd struggle to get down from this ledge...but he is a little overweight and, as I said before, not the bravest of cats is putting it nicely! So if you have a brave, outgoing cat, then you should be fine, and even if you don't, like me, then they'll also still get the use out of it you want them to!
My 10 week old kitten absolutely loves it! She hopped all over the place when I was constructing it for about 20 minutes and couldn't wait to climb all the way to the top to attack the hangin birds the minute I finished. It's just under the height of a standard door so I can move it to the other room near the windows without much fuss. The quality of this product is very impressive and will last for years to come. It blends in well into my cream furniture. I would not hesitate in recommending this product! Very happy with the purchase. I looked for weeks trying to find one fun enough to entertain zebbie and in the end felt very pleased spending a bit more for such quality and hours of kitty entertainment!
After looking for a space saving (but still high) cat tree I decided on the cathrine cat tree, the cats were not disappointed. After assembling it which only took 30 minutes and getting it in position the cats were up it in a shot ( even making it to the crows nest in 5 seconds flat!!). It looks really good and although high it's not bulky but I have found it sturdy and that's with two cats fighting on it and chasing each other up it!! I would certainly recommend this tree and so would my three happy cats.
All my 4 cats took to this tree right away. They love it. They use the top perch a lot too :) Great value for money and easy to construct. It looks super too!
I bought this as I have 4 indoor cats (well they have the secure garden too) and as well as having a £600 HiCat custom-made cat-pole (which they love) I wanted an additional one for the living room. It was hard to find cream - to blend in with the decor and the walls) and so when I saw this one it seemed perfect! The size and width was perfect for one corner of the living room (it is a great space-saving cat tree). It arrived within 5 days and I assembled it within no time and all the cats were on it fast! The have not been brave enough to climb to the highest platform yet but I am sure in tie they will. They are all great climbers so I am sure they will master it. The top platform does seem an awkward angle, but as of the surrounding walls I am unable to manoeuvre it to make it more easy for them to access. I guess they will just have to work that out for themselves ;) This is a great, well constructed cat-tree for the little price of £59! It is smart looking and so soft and cozy for them all. They all use it every day and all sleep on it. As much as my custom made one is absolutely fantastic and they love it, they actually love this one more!! That's cats for you!
I have two 3 year old Burmese cats, one sister twice as heavy as her sibling. They are inside cats and do need the trees. I have one larger one downstairs which has never really been very steady, although they love it. In this tree neither of them can climb to the top bed, not even my smaller, slimmer cat who is very agile. Once I put either of them in there they love the bed and stay in it for as long as they want. It is not big enough for both cats, but they love the rest of the tree. I bought it specifically to fit into the corner of my bedroom at the window so they sit for hours watching the wildlife in the garden. Don't know how to solve the problem of not reaching the top bed on their own though. A good looking space saving cat tree though.
I love this cat tree. It looks really nice and people have commented that they don't even notice it when they first walk in the room. It might be a bit too upright for an average moggy but if your cat loves climbing then this tree will be purfect.
I bought this for my 2 house cats (aged 10 years) about 1 month ago. Firstly, I am particularly impressed by the quality of the materials - everything fitted together well, the plush covering seems strong and covers the underside of the platforms where it is visible from below, and there were no unpleasant cheap/synthetic smells. It is a real plus that this is a smart product as I wanted it to go in my living room. I have it next to the sofa (note that it really needs to stand next to something from which your cats can jump in order to reach the higher platforms). Secondly, this cat tree doesn't take up much floor space at all, and that was a big consideration with respect to my space-limited one bedroom flat. And finally, my cats really enjoy using the platforms as they are so high - this is what cats really like in my experience. Now they can survey the living room from different vantage points and look out across the hall and into my kitchen (no matter that the lower baskets do not get used!). One is regularly using the very top basket. I think this is an excellent quality product, and helps my cats get their exercise through jumping and using the scratching posts, and so was well worth the £69.90 I paid for it.
We've had this cat tree for about 2 weeks. We have a small cottage so we were a bit worried that it would be overpowering. We needn't have worried as it fits beautifully into the corner of our conservatory. We have 5 cats and they all use it which is great as we are not constantly moving them off chairs just to be able to sit down! It arrived on time. Took less than a week. It is really well made and went together easily. It's very sturdy and doesn't wobble. We have tethered it to the wall just incase. Would reccomend this products.
I bought this cat tree for my new kitten last year and he took to it straight away. Although he was a little frightened of getting down from the top bed to the next shelf. Non the less he always slept in it when I wasn't there. (he sleeps next to me when I am). He is now 9 months old and nearly fully grown and he still sleeps on the top bed whenever I not there, and uses it as a hiding place when the hoover comes out :-) Im very pleased with it, the neutral colours and compact corner design make it easy to fit into any area of the room. Its well made and sturdy and I don't feel I need the wall bracket to secure it. The dangling birds didn't last long but kept him amused whilst they did, and I don't thing that's a fault as such, no cat toys they really love last long. Ive just had to attach new things to it. :-)
I have a tiny Abyssinian and a large tabby who both fit very comfortable on the top. I bought two of these. One for the living room and one for the spare room. They were so quick and easy to put up and are super soft and great quality. I've read some comments about them wobbling but neither mine do that. They are extremely sturdy and blend in well with the decor as they are neutral. My cats scratch them too and I thought the price was amazing considering I bought a tiny scratch post from pets at home for 45.00. I also see that this one is now cheaper than when I bought them for 79.00 but worth every penny. Brilliant buy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Feeling v pleased with myself because I managed to assemble the brilliant Catherine Tree. It is so well made, robust and yet plush.I wanted something that wouldn't take over the sittingroom and this fits perfectly in the corner. It would have been more convenient to have placed it in the bedroom but wasn't half as popular with Gulliver and Posy - my 5 month old kittens. So, where you position the Catherine Tree is important, as is securing it with brackets to a wall. As stable as it is bouncing cats need that security!! My only slight quibble is that the top seat isn't huge - so not sure whether the kittens would use it once they reach full maturity. But wow - WHAT a price - the pleasure my little ones are already getting from jumping on to the different levels, the exercise they will enjoy, and, hopefully, the sleep their exhausted bodies will get from the luxurious beds is so worth the money - especially if you have indoor cats. I heartily recommend this product.
Absolutely love this cat tree, as do my two babies! It fits lovely into a corner and is super soft. You could attach a wall bracket, but it is surprisingly sturdy, barely wobbles when my large 4 year old BSH leaps at it and my 13 week old climbs the poles like a monkey! Would definitely recommend!
Works a treat. My baby bengals love it. They scramble up it and tumble back down. The toys were chewed off in a matter of minutes mind you. As for the crows nest, the kittens are small enough to share. It's currently their favourite place to sleep.
I love the look of this tree sat in the corner but am dissapointed to say my 7 month old is not the slightest bit interested in sitting in it, preferring her other beaten-up tree made up of 3 old ones lol.I do occasionally hear her playing with the dangly toys on it however, which she loves...This is the risk we take to please our little pride n joys :-)
The only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is that its wobbly at the top, despite checking and double checking it as I put it together. Looks neat, fits in a corner of the room well, without taking over the room. Nice and soft, the toys are very cute, and the basket at the top looks lovely to snuggle in... ...however, our cat liked the box it came in, liked the tree while I was putting it together, but now only uses it as a ladder to get to the top of a cupboard!! Fickle (but gorgeous) things, cats.
The only reason that this doesn't get 5 stars is the top half is quite wobbly. Everything has been put together very firmly, but still. It looks really good, doesn't over-power the room and apart from the wobble, its really nicely made. Cat was very interested in the box it came in, and when I was putting it together, but now just uses it as a ladder to get to the top of a cupboard!! I love cats and their ways, lol.
I purchased this tree due to its slimline design as I have a cottage and didnt want it to stand out too much in a small room. My two lively cats and kitten absolutely love it and I am thrilled with the design and the quality of it, as a bonus it takes no time to put together. I have a few other cat trees and I can honestly say this is the best as its been designed with comfort and quality in mind. Each of the little hidey beds at the bottom are padded so no need for me to buy cushions for them (my other trees do not have this luxury). Also the bed on the top is a proper very plush comfy bed rather than a hard platform bed - the cats are super impressed with this! Its also a great height - not too tall so I have to have it attached to the ceiling but more than enough so the cats feel they are up very high. The last thing to say is that before I had even moved it to its final destination in the corner of my conservatory all 3 cats were climbing up it play fighting and it was very stable due to the excellent bottom platform so no wall really needed.
I ordered this tree because I wanted something tall but not too wide to place in my conservatory. My Bengals had been launching themselves at all my pot plants and trashing them so they clearly needed to satisfy their climbing instincts. Even whilst we were putting the tree together, they were attempting to get onto it and couldn't wait to investigate! They absolutely love it. They are now scratching the sisal rather than my my sofa and love the hidey holes in the base. I often find them cuddled up I the bed on the tip and best of all, my plants are getting a chance to recover. I am impressed with the quality too, especially as I consider the cost is very resonable for such a large tree. It is pretty weighty which is great when you have two muscular Bengals throwing themselves onto it. Very sturdy and secure. An excellent purchase!
Easy to put together and my female kitten shot straight up it, shortly followed by her brother. They love the upper 3 floors as well as the toys and have taken to using the scrathing posts straight away. I bought it not only because of the space saving design and neutral colours but because it incorporates sisal fabric as an alternative to the sisal rope posts: I haven't seen them use the fabric for scratching yet but it's only been 4 days. Really pleased with this purchase and the speedy delivery.
