It’s empty in here!
Brought some for the first time, as on offer and looking for a quality product to give my boy a change, he loved it and will be buying more
I’ve always feed my Maine Coons with Royal Canin but tried this as it was on offer. Maine Coons, Birmans and the old moggie absolutely loved them. Will need the 10kg bag next time. Pleased to have found an alternative
My pure white beauty is so fussy. She started trying to replace her dried food for treats! I was at my wits end until I bought a trial packs of the adult & kitten Concept for Life. I went to give her some and I threw one (she loves to chase her treats) and she ran to it & ate it . I started giving her the adult ones instead of treats & the kitten ones on floor in a small pile, whilst giggling inside knowing she was eating something so good for her instead! So it's a win win. Thanks Concept!
This is the best dry cat food I've found. Not just a treat food, it is well balanced for our indoor cat. She was a very fussy eater, a little rescue cat that almost died, emaciated, and hard to get to eat. The food is tiny so she can eat it without choking, her coat is shiny, eyes bright, she looks really well on this food. It has hair ball function, which helps as she won't eat cat grass etc, smells nice, and great value for money.
I have 18 cats, one of them has a sensitive tummy. I can't make her eat a different food to the rest so everyone is on ghere same food. They sell love it and Mrs sensitive has stopped being sick and no longer has a bloats tummy. One happy cat mummy
I have two cats and they are both very happy with this food. No problem with trying them on it for the first time hardly had chance to put it down before one of them was trying to pore it out my hand
l am feeding 20+ farm cats, one of whom, Derek, has diabetes and needs to be injected with insulin twice each day. Derek requires a special, sugar free diet and he adores Concept for Life , Light in jelly catfood and also CFL Light biscuits,. Feeding so many cats, who all thoroughly enjoy food from the wonderful Concept range, l purchase in bulk sadly the 3kg bag of Concept for Life biscuits are unavailable. My dear girl lris of 20 years love's them. Thankyou for providing this delicious food
My very fussy British Blue wolfs this down quite happily. Good price, good value and a happy cat = win-win!
My cat was a very fussy eater and did not eat dry food until I bought Concept for Life kitten. He absolutely loved it but became too fat so is now on the light version. He now eats only this
We have several cats and they all really love this product. Very good value for money.
Bought 'Concept for Life Light' in desperation as my two gorgeous moggies had become overweight but, what a happy coincidence...They love this stuff - now refusing any other products and have lost weight too.
Wanted a dry food with a better quantity of protein. Not eaten it myself :-) but looks fresh and crunchy and my two still growing cats really like it. Moved them too it after they went off Royal Canine products.
My cats eat mostly wet & raw but they like a bit of kibble for a snack. That said, they are very picky and there are only a few brands they will eat. Happy to say that all four of my babies love this food and one in particular will choose this over her wet food! I am happy with the ingredients and it is perfect for my indoor cats. I highly recommend this food for fussy eaters! :)
I started my 7 week old kitty on Concept for Life and he loved it straight away. I also give him wet food but he prefers the kibble and I end up throwing away the wet stuff. He’s now 20 weeks old and looks so healthy and his coat is shiny. The vet is really pleased with him when she does her check ups for the vaccinations. Thank you Zooplus xxx
My cats are mainly raw-fed, but do enjoy a little kibble treat on the side. As house cats they require something low calorie and one has a selection of food intolerances including egg and cranberry. All in all this food fits the bill - it's great to be able to check calorie content and all the ingredients on this site. Oh yes, and they love it
My 16 year old cat is very choosy about his food but he seems to like Concept for Life. He changes his mind quickly so I will just wait and see but at the moment he is eating like there is no tomorrow!
I have caught him knocking over the bin I keep the pack in; when I fill his bowl he tries to get at the food before I even put the bowl down for him to eat. He is like a child at Christmas waiting to open presents. One important point, these kibbles do not give him diarrhoea as others do. If it did, I would know it!!!!!!
Not entirely sure of the wet food ingredients/composition but half the rescue cats eat both the wet and dry without complaining. The other half will lick the sauce off then leave the "meat(?)". The dry food has a very strong chicken flavour when opening the bag. Good quality packaging.
Have had my cats on this for over a year now and I wouldn't switch to anything else. My rescue cats came with a lot of problems, scabby skin, swollen foot pads, acne on their chins, and an overall bad body condition and dull, rough fur. I switched their foods and tried out many different brands for a year before discovering this one, and this is the only brand that has cleared up all their problems. They absolutely love the food, come running when they hear the bag, the zip lock is a bonus too!
Not the best brand of dry cat food but it is affordable and good enough. Zooplus sometime make a Sale on this brand which is great. My cat is very picky and this is one of the brand she will eat.
I'd decided to get my cats a higher quality food and had bought Purely Holistic and Wainrights from Pets at Home and had to return both as neither of my cats would eat them. I was nervous giving them this but to my delight they have both been eating them and seem pretty happy
Froglet has mostly wet food, but I like to leave some dried food for when I get home late. I bought a teeny bag initially - she liked those enough to be fooled into thinking they were treats. Now have two 400g bags; she really likes it, and this morning ate these biscuits instead of fresh meat that I'd given her.
So my 3 cats had "acana" befote, majorly overpriced that's why I changed. Then "pro - plan" but they all got fat. Then "Applause" - they went off it.I have come to the conclusion (may not work for everybody) but if you try a cheaper cat food (whiskas / go - cat /) that type of thing your cats will eat double the amount then more often than not be sick.If you get a quality food , they eat sparingly...don't get greedy and have a better digestion....I bought "Sterilised Concept" before and the "sensitive concept" just as good and popular with my 3 cats.Send the extra on this food.Your purse and cat will be better off in the long run.
My cats love this food.I have already noticed a difference in 3 days.I used to give Acana but it was becoming very expensive. Then Applaws but they just got fed up with it.On Concept they are already a better weight and not as greedy.I am going to purchase Concept wet food too as I use a different brand at the moment.I would highly recommend this product.I purchased it because the reviews were very good and very detailed.
My cat seems to love it - she is a fussy eater, but always leaves her plate empty with this food.
Our cat is only part Maine Coon, but with the same large jaws which meant he hardly ever crunched on conventional kibble. We bought a sample pack for treats, then a 400g bag and I think the next purchase will be 3kg. Occasionally he still manages to swallow a whole piece, but it's made a big improvement.
My cat has mostly wet food with dry as a back up - she currently has whiskas biscuits, which she's OK with, but I decided to give these a try since could get a tiny size. As a 'treat', she likes these - I'm not entirely convinced whether she'll be as keen if she has a bowlful, but I will try it out when I place my next order. She did eat one first when given a choice of a dreamie or one of these, (& Dreamies are generally a bit of a draw) so can't be too bad.
I bought this for variety for my norwegian forest cat, as there is only one brand available for his breed. Maine Coons are similar in many ways, and are both large breeds, so bought this for the large kibble. I also bought another brand of Maine Coon food, and comparing the two, the other brand wins, it all gets eaten , but the kibble is smaller, only a bit bigger than regular dried food.
I bought a trial pack of this, which in itself is a great aspect of this product - no wasting money if they won't eat it. All my cats devoured them as if they were treats, even the one who ignores biscuits until she's sat by her bowl for an hour awaiting wet food. I'm trying to reduce the amount of wet food I use and this should do the trick. I will definitely be buying more!
This food is apparently extremely yummy and only 12% fat content which is the same content most lightweight brands offer but my cats won't touch. I have one rather large 8kg boy who I will try the light range on as that is an even better 9% fat content but in the meantime, this is certainly doing the trick - they actually think it's like treats!
This food is fab - my cat and kitten's coats are so soft and shiny since swapping to this food. My cat is prone to weight gain but has also been maintaining a healthy weight since the swap. However, he isn't massively keen on it and will go for the kitten version over this one. He is a very fussy eater though
I changed our cats diet over from Hills Science plan to Concept for life, and after a week of slowly changing their diet over I am very surprised that my cats love this food. I am hoping this food does what it states.
Both my Maine Coons enjoyed this food - I'm happy with the value for money and will definitely buy a larger bag!
This was a trial pack. All 3 cats seem to love this - there are no nuggets left at all, unlike their previous brand...
I had my Maine Coon boy on Applaws for years, very happy with it but became too expensive to feed with three large cats so decided to try this instead as better value. I have now been feeding it for about 6 months with no deterioration in the condition of his coat, he enjoys it very much and we appear to have no problems. Would prefer to feed Applaws but the quality of this food is very good for the price, I'm happy with it!
I bought the special offer of buy one get one free of this product. I have never seen my cats go so mad on a dry food. The two 400g bags didn't last five minutes. I have now ordered a 12kg bag and hope their appetite for this product continues.
All three of my cats can't get enough. I can't fault this at all.
My two Maine Coons would not eat Royal Canin but with this food, I had to stop them tearing open the bag for seconds. I am confident that they will keep on eating this food so I am sure I will be ordering a large bag in the near future. My only complaint is that the size is too small so they tend to swallow rather than chew.
I have 3 fussy cats and they love this!
I'm so pleased to have found a dry food for sterilised cats which my fussy cats actually like. And best of all, it suits them and they are not putting on weight.
