Purchased the mixed pack as wanted to give my 6 month old kittens a much higher meat content food, spent 3 days mixing this new food with their normal food and then they just left their old food entirely and ate this so now giving just this food, they really like it ! We scrape it out of the tin with a fork as its really thick, We do vary their diet with other meats as well (human meat chicken and lamb). This is a very good price compared to prices in the shops for a high meat content food.
The food is great quality my kitten will eat it eventually but he wont eat it unless he knows its the only option such a shame as the only other food he will eat is the royal canin pouches in jelly which im not happy with as to low meat content and to much grains. Going to try mixing them to see if he will eat it as want to keep trying the healthier foods.
When our fur babies came to live with us they were eating a big brand kitten food (4% meat) Upon research into cat food I was recommended to zoo plus where I found much healthier high meat content food. This food has stopped our kittens runny tummy’s and are no longer bloated and windy. There coats are lovely and shiny too .
We bought this after having some serious smelly litterbox issues after my Oriental and Balinese boys both ate Carny. Both the boys enjoy these 2 flavours and I think the food smells no worse than corned beef! The dodgy litterbox smells are nowhere near as bad as before and I have removed the Biohazard sign from the door. I would definitely recommend this food and so would the kittens if they could type, spell and not just try and chew my phone as I am typing this!
Great product. My kitten loves it. Other reviewers said about the smell but I have not noticed it - pleasantly smells of good quality cat food! Container can be recycled - bonus
My little Tortie came to us when she was 8weeks old and had been weaned onto supermarket food I.e felix, whiskers etc.. her poop were very offensive and could smell it through the whole house when she went to the litter tray... she’s now 11 weeks and this food is fantastic she loves it, her coat it amazing and no bad poop smells She’s been putting weight on well.. I use only feringa products for her treats also! Very happy kitty
I've seen a lot of bad reviews about these due to other kittens not eaten them but our kitten loves them! He is a very fussy eater and has a sensitive tummy but sines he has been on Feringa we have had no tummy issues and he has been eaten every single bit of food given! Would recommend 100%
Tried this brand when I switched from a low meat content high street brand. Kittens absolutely love it and can't eat it quick enough. High meat content, quality kitten food at a very affordable price. Highly recommended.
My kitten has loved this food and always eats every bit. I have tried other brands from time to time but she likes this one the best and it does not give her any tummy trouble. She has grown well and has remarkably soft glossy and silky fur which I think is because she is getting good nutrition from this food.she is now moving on to the adult feelings cat food and seems to like that even more.
My two 4mth old kittens didn't seem to like it and made their poo quite soft and smelly. Not sure if it's just my kittens but they seem to gobble up every other brand of wet food I've fed them.
I've switched my kitten from the food containing low amounts of meat as I just don't feel confident that they are the best I can give my pet. A lot of the time there was wasted food as he would not eat it all. When I opened the Feringa my kitten went wild for it and wolfed it down licking the bowl clean. You can see the quality and the high meat content and I'm glad I made the change. Along with a raw cat food diet I now feel much happier my kitten has the best nutritional start in life.
My four month old kitten, Misty, was on Whiskas pouches and I was conscious that they are only 4% for the meat content. I've given her this, mixed in with the Whiskas, to ensure that it is introduced properly ... she is now refusing to eat the meat of the Whiskas and only eating the jelly. So, hands down, this has definitely been accepted ... great product, great ingredients and a very happy kitten (owner too!).
I was looking for a good quality high meat kitten food, for a reasonable price per kg, for a long time. Having tried a few of the cheaper alternatives (e.g Highlife), I found the high levels of oil were giving one of our kittens a bad belly. As soon as this arrived it looked much better, like actual meat. The kittens absolutely love it and clean their bowls every time. Its fixed all belly problems and both kittens are thriving.
My kitten loves this food! It's good quality and smells nice, my kitten's fed well and his coat got perfectly shiny. Highly recommended!
My 5 month old kitten would only lick the jelly off pouched food, so I ordered a selection of tins from Zooplus. Yesterday was the first time she's left a clean bowl - so relieved. Thank you Feringa!
I wanted to get my kitten on to good quality, high meat content food and away from meat meal, which is not so good for them and Feringa certainly fits the bill. I bought the mixed pack containing the two different types and my kitten simply loves it - her plate was licked clean ! I don't understand why some people think it smells unpleasant - I don't ! I think it smells divine and very appetising. A sure winner from this great family business ! Please keep up the good work !
Tried this after my 2 kittens went off bozita kitten food. It is very meaty, doesn't smell too bad and had very little jelly (unlike bozita which has loads). They both really like it and it has no cereals or added sugar and a high meat content.
I bought this as a trial for the kittens, as it's a nice sized tin and the small Applaws tins aren't enough. The kittens certainly tuck in to it, but I don't think it's quite on a par with Applaws Wet Food in terms of ultimate quality, as it does have a lot of jelly in the tin as well. Overall though, if you want better quality food at a good price you can't go wrong.
We switched our kitten to this as Mum has to have grain free food so ideally needed to give them food they could share. He loved it and it caused him no problems, so we switched him to adult food due to costings.
The new rescue had been fed whiskas dry and wet and I'd prefer her to have more meat so ordered this and the dry is a total hit. Unfortunately she isn't keen on the wet chicken & veal, and the tins are quite large - so it is fortunate that our creaky 18 year old has found it and pinched it as it won't go to waste! The toys are cute and seem robust. I know toys shouldn't be left but the latest addition is a total klepto! I'd rather she has this than whatever other detritus she keeps discovering
she was brought up on Whiskas kitten. She seems not keen on that either now and I seem to have created a monster with the Feringa dry kitten food as that is all she really wants. I have several other decent meat content wet things on order to see if I can persuade her into something else. However the creaky old 18 year old found it and hoovered the lot so at least it won't go to waste!
I thought my kitten would like it after reading positive reviews about it but the fussy kitten didn't really like the smell of it and refused to eat it all day... I think he doesn't like pate texture and prefers chunky wet food.
My 2 new kittens love this food both wet and dry and I am happy with the meat content and catnip in the wet food and the animal proteins in the dry. I have also noticed that the kittens and my other 5 older cats are more active and their coats etc are in much better condition when thet are fed on a more natural food than ones which is bulked up with grain etc.
Really good quality food for kittens, high meat content and balanced ingredients. It looks good a smells good and our 2 Tonkinese absolutely love it!
The meat content in this food is fantastic, I gave this to every kitten leaving us. No grains, full of nutrition, I strongly reccomend this to every new owner. My cats all have the adult version now, and I will never use anything else. It is great for the most sensitive kitties!
Kitten couldn't get enough when the parcel arrived she jumped up on the chair as I was unpacking! Soon as I fed her she lapped it up defiantly a hit.. She's more excited about this than the Canin kitten food. So will be ordering more...
Our litter of 3 British shorthair kittens love feringa. The cans are large which is great as they go through it so quickly!
My 8 month old Mainecoon couldn't wait for me to get it out of the tin and my two 11 week old Mainecoon kittens dived into the middle of the plate and got stuck in ! All 3 loved it, Doesn't smell like pet food at all in fact it smells really nice. It looks very similar to corned beef but smells much more appealing / tastier than corned beef ☺ I will be ordering more as my kittens absolutely love this food..great quality food with no fillers 5☆
My kitten loves this food! I like that it actually smells pleasant and is a great price. Value for money. Definitely recommended!
My kitten ate it begrudgingly but wasnt as excited as other foods. This is a pate style and he seems to prefer the chunks of well beloved or bozita.
My kitty loved this from day one. It smells very nice and (according to the manufacturers) is free from any harmful additives. The most important thing for me was that there was no hidden sugar, or plant and animal byproducts smuggled in there.
We were looking for a high quality kitten food but didn't want one that was too expensive. This is excellent. It has a high 72% meat content & is grain free. My fussy kitten absolutely loves it & 1 tin will last him a couple of days. Great value for money. Would highly recommend trying it.
I've been reading online about how bad some foods are for cats so I've been desperate to get my kitten off the whiskas that she was eating when she arrived. I ordered the chicken and veal and was pleasantly surprised with how packed the can was with meat and that the meat was visible throughout the food and not packed out with jelly. I mixed a little whiskas in with the feringa the first time I gave it to her and she immediately wolfed it down. The only thing left in the bowl was the whiskas! The food is very dense so depending on the age of the kitten one can can be used for 2-3 small meals in a day, so very economical Would definitely recommend
My kitten doesn't like Feringa at all. I really wanted him to like it as the ingredients are great but unfortunately my kitten disagree with me!
I've been thoroughly testing wet food for over half a year now (since I've had my kittens) and the majority have been over 70% meat. I've tried pretty much all the brands (Smila, Feringa, Royal Canin....) and they all had their drawbacks. For the price, Feringa is the winner. The cats love it time and time again and I've never had any problems. In a year I'll be switching to Feringa Menu Duo, as this is even cheaper and still as yummy (already sampled it) It's just great!
It went down well in our household the kittens loved the stuff. It's got a nice texture, bits of jelly in there too which they love. Great price. A Very homely meal for the kitties, and great composition of ingredients. Would recommend.
My two will eat this sometimes, other days they literally turn there nose up. It is really strong smelling and solid rather than chunks.
I have a 7 month old kitten and a 1 year old. Thye are rather fussy and go off foods fast and will only eat high meat content foods. They also have sensitive tummies so food needs to be grain free. They did enjoy this food although I did add some salmon oil for cats as they do lie it quite moist.
I only give them a little bit each evening mixed in with their kibble but they absolutely love it! I strongly recommend it.
I order both Chicken and Turkey. The Turkey one is very smelly.. one of my cats was not sure to start with. But after 2 or 3 meals he was happy to eat it. My other cats enjoy both Chicken and Turkey Overall, good food, Reasonable priced.
