Product description

Digestible, dietetic wet food for adult cats with chronic renal insufficiency, with reduced protein content, urinary alkalising potassium citrate, reduced phosphorus & sodium content, rich in taurine.

If your cat is affected by chronic kidney insufficiency, the cause may be pre-existing diseases, environmental influences or also the wrong diet. Kattovit Kidney/Renal is a dietary wet food that provides optimal support for your cat in case of kidney problems.

The diet wet food consists of tasty pieces in a delicious sauce. It has a low protein content to help relieve the kidneys. The potassium citrate contained in the food can promote less acidic urine due to its urine alkalising properties, thus reducing the risk of oxalic stone formation. Kattovit Kidney/Renal also has a reduced phosphorus and sodium content to additionally support the natural kidney function.

Kattovit Renal Pouches at a glance:

  • Dietetic complete food for adult cats, helping to support those with chronic renal insufficiency and reduce oxalate stone formation
  • Low protein content: high-quality & easily digestible protein, can help relieve kidney stress
  • With potassium citrate: urinary alkalising, for less acidic urine, may reduce the risk of oxal stones
  • Reduced levels of phosphorus, sodium, calcium & vitamin D
  • With taurine: may support normal vision and natural heart function
  • With essential vitamins & minerals: for a balanced and holistic diet
  • Particularly appetising and tasty: tender chunks in a fine sauce
  • Fresh pouches: in practical portioned sizes

Best food EVER
I moved from the USA to Ireland with my 21 year old cat with renal failure and hyperthyroidism. In all his life, I've never seen him finish a whole bowl. He absolutely begs and chows down on this food. For now, it's his favorite. Thank you!!! He's put on 200 grams of weight!! Wow!

pouches cant be recycled! get the tins - better for environment
Very good, my 24-year-old cat likes very much. BUT tinned option is better for the environment and able to be recycled.

They don't even touch it
Unfortunately, my cats with kidney disease don’t eat it. They smell it but won't even touch it. When I really forced them into it, they tasted it, then left it, and preferred not to eat anything.

So pleased I have found Kattovit Renal!
When my cat first went on to a kidney diet it was very difficult as she would eat then regurgitate, which was awful. At last I found a renal food that she could keep down, but she ate very little. I have just found Kattovit Renal food, so it's early days but she seems to love it which is brilliant!

I am SO glad I tried this brand ...
We tried all the usual big brands - over five of them, Bushy (our recently diagnosed cat) did not want to know so we ended up having to mix it with his regular wet food. As a last resort I ordered some Kattovit but we we weren't expecting it to be a success, we tried not to get over excited as he cleaned his plate - thinking it was because it was 'new' but he has now been tucking into the beef for a few months now - nothing added. What a relief!! I just hope this never gets discontinued!

CAT HAPPILY EATS IT - THANK GOODNESS!!
My 19 year old fur baby cat was recently diagnosed with Renal Failure & quickly purchased several brands of renal kidney food to give her variety and options in case she didn't like a particular brand. Pleased to say that she consistently eats this every time, even when I put her regular Felix Senior & Whiskas Gravy next to it ( with phosphorus binder added to these foods). Even though it's hit & miss with the other brands senal foods, don't get rid of it as they can eat it a few weeks later

Brilliant
My cat enjoys these pouches. He has tried other brands and, while he's generally not a fussy cat, there were some that I thought looked awful and, sure enough, he turned his nose up at them. These pouches seem to keep him happy though, and the range of flavours is good. They are also significantly cheaper than some of the other brands available.

My cat loves this food!
My cat was diagnosed with renal failure over two years ago now! He refused to eat any food that the vet advised for him! It was a very worrying and upsetting time for us all until my husband found this brand. My cat hasn’t refused once to eat this food. He loves it and so do we as it has given our fur baby a new lease of life. Thank you kattovit! Xx

Success
My cat has been eating this for a good few weeks now. So pleased to have finally found a renal food which she consistently enjoys and at a reasonable price too. She also loves the dried food, I give her a mix of the two

Excellent product
My 13 year old cat loves these. I've so far I've only tried the chicken and I'm now going to try him with he turkey. He was a rescue cat & I've only had him 18 months, so he has teeth missing & seems to find the small chunks & gravy easier to eat. I hadn't realised there is a saver pack which offers a saving on the purchase price, so I will be ordering those in future.

Affordable renal pouches AT LAST!
Really pleased to have found this. Food for cats with kidney failure is so expensive and hard to obtain. My cat loves this and it should keep her healthy for as long as possible. Wins all round!

Success
Wow I'm quite excited at how eagerly my little old cat eats this , I hope it lasts , old cats can be super fussy. I think the size of the pieces is a help , too many of the renal food is pate and she isn't keen on the texture.

Kattovit renal pouches
Tried Hills and Royal Canin but cat went off these after a while. These lumps of meat are quite soft but as my cat doesn't have many back teeth now, I mash them up and it is then more a soft pate. Trouble is she eats everything when the packet is first opened and then after it's been in the fridge, even though I put it in microwave for 5 secs, she still turns her nose up. I tend to give her sheba inbetween and stopped dreamies and give her renal crunchies. Her kidneys are back to normal!
