Product description

Complete wet cat food in pouches, formulated to help reduce weight in obese cats. This delicious food is high in protein and low in starch, with a diluted energy density, and bone and joint support.
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet – Obesity Management can help your cat regain and maintain its ideal body condition. There are different causes for obesity in cats, but it is mostly a result of a too high energy intake, combined with too little exercise. Another common factor that can cause obesity is a change in your cat’s metabolic activity (e.g. neutering). Obesity doesn’t just affect your cat’s well-being, but it also carries long-term health risks and also dramatically shortens life expectancy. If your cat is overweight or obese, a long-term change to a specialised diet food is recommended and can help your cat lose any excess weight. Royal Canin Veterinary Diet – Obesity Management offers your cat delicious food, while also encouraging weight-loss. This food has a high protein content, which helps to reduce loss of muscle mass. The diluted energy density simultaneously enables a higher amount of daily food, which increases your cat’s feeling of fullness, while the inclusion of chondroitin sulphate and glucosamine can also counteract against joint diseases.
