Product description

Special wet food for adult cats to support healthy skin and coat, with omega 3 & 6 fatty acids, including EPA & DHA, previously: Royal Canin Intense Beauty in Gravy

Cats are beautiful creatures, but their appearance can be affected by damaged skin or dull fur. If this is the case, it could also mean that your cat is unwell in other ways.

This Royal Canin Hair & Skin Care in Gravy has been specially developed for skin and coat, with a high content of omega-3 and -6 fatty acids in a recipe explicitly tailored to meet these needs. The wet food supports healthy skin and a glossy coat.

Royal Canin Hair & Skin Care in Gravy at a glance:
  • High-quality wet food for cats
  • Specially tailored: to support a shiny coat & normal skin
  • With omega-3 & -6: can promote normal skin and coat function
  • Proven results*: over 90% of pet owners saw improved skin and coat quality after just 3 weeks of feeding the Hair & Skin Care nutritional program (a combination of dry and wet food) (*Royal Canin internal study)
  • High moisture content: supports hydration & natural urinary tract function
  • In practical fresh pouches
Mixed feeding - cleverly combined: the combination of wet and dry food takes on the positive aspects of each type of food. Dry food can support dental health through a mechanical "toothbrushing" effect, while the moisture content in wet food can aid in hydration and urinary tract health.

Royal Canin Quality Guarantee
All Royal Canin products undergo strict quality controls, in order to ensure your cat receives a premium quality food adapted to meet its individual nutritional needs and specific lifestyle. This means that with Royal Canin Hair & Skin Care in Gravy you are offering your cat high-quality, balanced nutrition.

Not happy Jan
I was told it’s the same as Intense Beauty so bought 36 pkts. My cat won’t touch it. We all need an explanation from Royal Canin. It’s costing me a fortune.

Why change a winning product?
My cat used to love the Intense Beauty above every other food but sniffs this and just walks off. VERY disappointed.

Quality gone way down
This product was supposed to replace Intense Beauty in Gravy. If you put both products side by side, they are completely different. The quality of the new product has gone way down. Obviously using cheaper ingredients, and charging the same price. Rip off Royal Canin. Another company price gouging.

From BEAUTY to Hair & Skin
BEAUTY was great, but the new product is not eaten by any of my cats, I always thought that paying a bit more would be worth it, but now ROYAL has gone rocket sky with he prices and the quality of the products is worse. It is not the only product going worse with an almost double cost. ROYAL IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE. Awful experience, and wasted money.

Totally different product!
Apparently Intense Beauty in Gravy has been discontinued and replaced with this. They are totally different products. There used to be loads of gravy on the Intense Beauty product, but this product looks grey and unappealing. No point in contacting Royal Canin as they're not interested in feedback. I trued and got the usual answer from a robot. Their prices too have shot through the roof, so I think they're cutting corners with this product. A real shame for loyal customers.

Unseen
Feed our cat for three years. Started our other cat on it. Simply can’t find any royal canin wet cat food anymore. Very unreliable brand I strongly recommend never to use royal canin as they are way to unpredictable.

The bowls are empty ;)
My Ragdolls like this very much. The only issue I have is, that I order 2 x 12 at a time and the last 2 pouches I use upset their tummies. The pouches are well within the use by date and it might be coincidental, but it happened three times now already. (No matter if ordered via zooplus or bought in store)

My kitty loves it!
My kitty has been a fan of this one since the first time she tasted it. She eats all of it in her bowl and licks it clean. She loooves the sauce

Good - but inconsistent
Our one and a half year old cat loves this food. She's extremely healthy and in excellent condition on it. But every now and then, we'll get a packet, or sometimes a whole box of 12 that she just completely refuses for no apparent reason. We've no idea why, we can only assume it comes from a different factory or something? We feed her Royal Canin Fit32 dry food in the morning and a pouch of this in the evening.

The only Food my British Shorthair will eat!
I have the fussiest British SH, who is so picky about what he eats. I have tried most of the top brands on the market and the wet food he loves the most is RC wet (Hairball) in pouches. He is not a big eater so I can get 3 portions out of one pouch. The only DRY food he eats as well happens to be Royal Canin for British Shorthair - KITTEN

Cat not too happy with this food
My cat doesn’t like this one very much... eats a little and then leaves the rest and goes for the dry food. With other brands she leaves the bowl clean...

This food is unbeatable for regular feeding
My two Persian rescue cats love this food. They have been eating it as their chief food for several months and have never gotten tired of it or had any upset. I give them a dry food supplement and occasionally another type of Royal Canine, but this is their staple.

Differences
I have 2 cats and they are both well and happy with this Royal Canin Intense Beauty food against all others tried. HOWEVER..I made a mistake and purchased a pack of 48 in JELLY instead of the GRAVY and neither really liked it, walking away from the dish having eaten very little [and found it smelt nasty if left covered in a dish between meals....wasted a lot in fact] I give the Light variety to the cat who is overweight and she likes that too.. The only wet food I ever buy now.

Excellent quality
We originally tried a different brand and because we had the Royal Canin dry food we thought we'd try our kitten on this. She loves it and prefers this to her previous food. Well worth it

Just what he needed!!
My 2 year old cat was recently diagnosed with cystitis. Having never showed symptoms before, within less than 1 week of them beginning, he was hospitalised at the vets and had to be catheterised. Within a 3 week period, he had 2 stay overs at the vets and numerous check ups. During the flare up, he was eating Royal Canin Urinary S/O to dissolve the crystals. The vets recommended he has a urinary care diet. Since he has been on this, he has had 1 flare up. I add extra water to all of his wet food

great value great for kidney compromised cats
I love this food my 17 year old cat, enjoys it its low in phosphorus, and not chicken based. Which is fantastic if u have a cat with a chicken allergy. My sweetpea has kidney issues and hyperthyroidism, she hates the kidney diets but this is by far the best stand in for managing kidney issues, and she loves it. Also the biscuits are preferred by our older male cats. The price is great for the quantities we go through

Fussy cat
My cat loves this product. She has a sensitive stomach and was overweight. This product helped her loose some weight.

Perfect for long-hair
My rescue Persians are thriving on this food. They like it and they are much more comfortable digesting the inevitable fur.
