Product description

An automatic feeder for dry food, ideal for both dogs and cats and with 3kg capacity. It provides individual portions at programmed times, thanks to the digital timer, and has a pet-safe cover catch.

The Cat Mate C3000 Automatic Feeder is ideal for both dogs and cats, designed to ensure your pet receives the perfect amount of dry food at specifically chosen times. This helps to minimise health risks caused by over- or under-feeding. The Cat Mate C3000 Automatic Feeder has an extra-large capacity of 3kg of dry food. It can automatically deliver individually portioned food throughout a 24-hour period, thanks to an LCD programming system, which is easy to understand and use. The portion size for each meal can be for anything from 10g upwards, approximately 2 teaspoons.
Alternatively, you can release a portion of food for your pet by the press of a button, outside of the programmed times. There is also an option to provide lots of smaller meals throughout the day, which can be an ideal option for pets with specific dietary requirements such as diabetes.
The Cat Mate C3000 Automatic Feeder includes a secure Snap Lock and a patented self-closing nozzle, in order to ensure that your pet cannot reach in and get food when it is not meant to. The base can also be installed on a wooden plate for increased stability.
The automatic feeder is battery-operated, requiring 4 x C-batteries that are not included in delivery. The battery life level can be seen on the display.
The entirety of the Cat Mate C3000 Automatic Feeder is simply to clean, with the bowl, container, lid, nozzle and delivery tube all being dishwasher proof. The base unit can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, but it should not be submerged in water.

Not cat-proof!
The feeder works well, but after some months my cat still found a way to get food through a small gap in the dispenser part. He figured it out by banging and pulling it enough times for the kibbles to fall eventually, so now he doesn't stop haha we thought we had solved it by buying a brand of dry cat food with bigger kibble, but after some time, we are having the same problem...

Fragile
My 12-year-old cat broke the feeder on its first day. I am very disappointed. Mon chat de 12 ans a cassé le distributeur dès le premier jour. Je suis très déçu.

Ideal solution for greedy cats
Our gorgeous black moggie (male) has always been greedy, and got very good at persuading individual family members that he hadn't been fed, and was starving hungry. It became his life's work! The beauty of this automatic feeder is that he can con us no more... and that can only be good for his health. We've set it to deliver him 3 small meals a day. He did wrestle it over a few times, but never got the lid off. I put a strap round it just in case, and he now leaves it alone. It works a treat!

4yrs old and still as good as new!
Had this food dispenser for over 4 years now and it is still working well! I have only changed the batteries twice.

Works like a charm
We originally bought this to use when we travel away for a day or two, but have come to use all the time! Great for portion control and to ensure our cat is fed regularly, without overfeeding. I saw some videos of cats getting into the feeder, so we have tapped the latch on with duck tape and this seems to do the trick.

Easy to Build, Easy to Program. Works Well
Easy to build. Easy to program feed times, though their quantity scale of 0 to 10 needs experimentation. Works very well. Sizes are H=37cm, W=21cm, L (incl bowl)= 35cm
