Royal Canin Quality Guarantee
All Royal Canin products undergo thorough quality controls to ensure optimum food quality and to provide food that is appropriate for your cat's individual nutritional needs and lifestyle. This means that Royal Canin cat food offers high-quality, balanced nutrition.

Mixed feeding - cleverly combined: in order to meet the individual preferences of cats, Royal Canin is also available in a wet food format with tender moist food. Wet food is particularly tasty for cats, as well as helping to offer valuable nutrients and encourage a good fluid intake for healthy kidneys and urinary system. A portioned pouch containing 100g of wet food contains half of your cat's daily recommended fluid intake! Dry food helps to meet your cat's natural behaviours, allowing for small portions throughout the day as well as helping to care for teeth and gums, with a high concentration of nutrients, portion or fibre. Various studies have shown that combining the two can support your cat's health in a natural way! Simply follow our feeding guidelines to ensure that your cat receives the ideal quantities of wet and dry food for good health.

Feeding guide

Feeding recommendations:

Royal Canin Sterilised in Jelly is a complete food for cats.

Weight of cat Pouches fed per day
3kg 2 3/4
4kg 3 1/2
5kg 4 1/4
6kg 4 1/4

These guidelines are based on a diet of exclusively wet food. If your cat has a combined diet of wet and dry food, please adjust the feeding amounts accordingly.

Changing from one food to another should be done gradually so your cat's intestinal flora has sufficient time to adapt to a new food. Over 7 days, mix Royal Canin wet food in gradually increasing proportions into your cat's existing diet. This gradual adaptation lowers the risk of diarrhoea. Excessive food intake may also cause digestive problems.

Please note that these are guidelines only. Actual feeding amounts should be adjusted according to your cat's age, activity levels and circumstances. Monitor your cat's weight and adjust feeding amounts as required. Daily amounts should be offered spread over two portions a day. Fresh water should be provided at all times.

My kitty loves it!

My kitty has been a fan of this one since the first time she tasted it. She eats all of it in her bowl and licks it clean. She loooves the sauce

Good - but inconsistent

Our one and a half year old cat loves this food. She's extremely healthy and in excellent condition on it. But every now and then, we'll get a packet, or sometimes a whole box of 12 that she just completely refuses for no apparent reason. We've no idea why, we can only assume it comes from a different factory or something? We feed her Royal Canin Fit32 dry food in the morning and a pouch of this in the evening.

The only Food my British Shorthair will eat!

I have the fussiest British SH, who is so picky about what he eats. I have tried most of the top brands on the market and the wet food he loves the most is RC wet (Hairball) in pouches. He is not a big eater so I can get 3 portions out of one pouch. The only DRY food he eats as well happens to be Royal Canin for British Shorthair - KITTEN

Cat not too happy with this food

My cat doesn’t like this one very much... eats a little and then leaves the rest and goes for the dry food. With other brands she leaves the bowl clean...

This food is unbeatable for regular feeding

My two Persian rescue cats love this food. They have been eating it as their chief food for several months and have never gotten tired of it or had any upset. I give them a dry food supplement and occasionally another type of Royal Canine, but this is their staple.

Differences

I have 2 cats and they are both well and happy with this Royal Canin Intense Beauty food against all others tried. HOWEVER..I made a mistake and purchased a pack of 48 in JELLY instead of the GRAVY and neither really liked it, walking away from the dish having eaten very little [and found it smelt nasty if left covered in a dish between meals....wasted a lot in fact] I give the Light variety to the cat who is overweight and she likes that too.. The only wet food I ever buy now.

Excellent quality

We originally tried a different brand and because we had the Royal Canin dry food we thought we'd try our kitten on this. She loves it and prefers this to her previous food. Well worth it

Just what he needed!!

My 2 year old cat was recently diagnosed with cystitis. Having never showed symptoms before, within less than 1 week of them beginning, he was hospitalised at the vets and had to be catheterised. Within a 3 week period, he had 2 stay overs at the vets and numerous check ups. During the flare up, he was eating Royal Canin Urinary S/O to dissolve the crystals. The vets recommended he has a urinary care diet. Since he has been on this, he has had 1 flare up. I add extra water to all of his wet food

great value great for kidney compromised cats

I love this food my 17 year old cat, enjoys it its low in phosphorus, and not chicken based. Which is fantastic if u have a cat with a chicken allergy. My sweetpea has kidney issues and hyperthyroidism, she hates the kidney diets but this is by far the best stand in for managing kidney issues, and she loves it. Also the biscuits are preferred by our older male cats. The price is great for the quantities we go through

Unfortunately....

I thought I finally found something healthy and my cat eat when I first fed my cat. So I re-ordered 48 pounch. But she doesn't eat ever since. I definitely want to feed her good quality of food rather than regular cat food that you can buy in supermarket but this one was another fail... I am still keep on looking for THE ONE for her. Arghhhhhhhhh

Just what the vet ordered!

My 11 year old cat has recently been diagnosed with crystals in his urine which caused a blockage that required emergency catheterisation and a 2 day stay at the vets. he now needs a special diet to meet his specific needs. This wet food is 100% IDEAL and cost less too. Perfect all round. Im able to buy in bulk and get it delivered to my door within a couple of days.

RC Urinary Care cat food

Our cat (who has had struvite urethral blockages and stress cystitis) really likes this food both wet and dry varieties. After his initial treatment and special urinary diet for dissolving the struvites, we wanted to give him a urinary maintenance diet he enjoys. We've tried other brands like Hill's which he would eat but he cleans the plate of this brand! Our vet approves it as a suitable urinary maintenance diet for our cat too. Happy cat!

Great quality

My kittens are now 8 months & have been eating this twice a day since 2 months, along with the royal canin kitten biscuits. They love the small chunks and always eat it all. I've also tried the gravy one but they will only eat this. Will move onto the sdult when it's time.
