Recommendation:
File the claws at a 45° angle. Friction generates heat. Only file the same spot for a short time to prevent the claws from overheating.

Please note:
Regular claw trimming is an important part of dog grooming. As claws grow throughout a dog’s life and do not wear down sufficiently in many dogs, claws that are too long can impair walking. To prevent misalignment, postural problems and muscle tension, you should trim your dog’s claws regularly and correctly.
