For optimal support, only the diet should be fed. Supplementary food should be discussed with the veterinarian in charge.
Recommended feeding duration: in case of chronic renal insufficiency initially up to 6 months. As a rule, feeding is necessary for life. Unless otherwise recommended by the veterinarian, offer several small meals per day. The amount of food should be adapted to the individual metabolism of the animal and may need to be reduced or increased in moderation. Offer water for free intake.
