Everything at a glance in just one step – Tetra Pond Test 7 in 1 allows you to quickly and reliably check the seven most important water values in your garden pond. After just one minute, you receive the results. The practical colour chart on the can instantly shows whether the water parameters are within the safe range to maintain a biological balance for fish, plants and microorganisms.

Tetra Pond Test 7 in 1 measures pH value, total and carbonate hardness (GH + KH), as well as nitrite (NO2-), nitrate (NO3-), chlorine (Cl2) and carbon dioxide (CO2). Your pond inhabitants are very sensitive to changes in these values, which is why regular checks serve as a early warning system. The enclosed instructions provide detailed information on limit values and any necessary countermeasures – for clear water and vital pond inhabitants.

Application:

Caution! Do not touch the test pads or hold under running water!

Test procedure:
Dip the test strip into the water and move it back and forth 2 to 3 times. Tap off any excess liquid. Wait approximately 60 seconds and compare the test pads with the colour scales on the can.

Chlorine (Cl2):
Chlorine may be present in tap water. As it is harmful to fish and bacteria, fresh tap water should always be treated with Tetra Pond AquaSafe before being added to the garden pond. Using Tetra Pond AquaSafe neutralises the chlorine in tap water and binds toxic heavy metals.

Carbon dioxide (CO2):
Carbon dioxide is required for good plant growth. Determine the CO2 value using the CO2 table. If the value is too high, use an air pump.
