Product description
Dietetic food for adult cats with food intolerances, reduces effects of nutrient intolerance, supports skin function in cases of dermatosis and hair loss, with turkey as the sole source of protein.
Food intolerance refers to all abnormal physiological reactions to the consumption of a food or food additive. A distinction is made between food allergies and food intolerances.A food allergy is an overreaction of the immune system to certain proteins. The reaction to food intolerances, on the other hand, occurs without the involvement of the immune system. Both food allergies and food intolerances can lead to skin and digestive problems, such as itching and diarrhoea. It can often be necessary to carry out an elimination diet to determine a food intolerance. The prerequisite is a food that contains a selected protein source and as few different ingredients as possible.
Skin problems are not only the most common consequence of food intolerances, but also of flea saliva and environmental allergies. To optimally support skin function, food should contain high-quality fatty acids.
How does Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Turkey support your cat?
Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Turkey is a specially developed high-premium complete diet food for adult cats that is optimally adapted to the nutritional requirements of cats with intolerances and dermatosis.
This Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Turkey only uses turkey as a selected source of protein to help with food and nutrient intolerance symptoms. It is advisable not to feed common animal proteins, as the risk of a physical reaction is lower than with commonly used proteins.
To support skin function in cases of dermatosis and excessive hair loss, Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic Turkey uses hypoallergenic salmon oil, which is characterised by its high content of omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA).
