Product description

This complete ferret food with tasty extruded pellets and added taurine is grain-free and gluten-free.

Ferret Complete is a tasty complete food for ferrets made from 100% light, extruded pellets.

Many ferrets eat only the tasty ingredients from their food mixture, which leads to the risk of nutritional deficiencies. Ferret Complete prevents such food selection with its extrusion cooking process that forms mixed ground ingredients into pellets. The pellets' shape, size and texture have been tailored to perfectly fit your ferret's requirements. Each single pellet contains the same balanced combination of ingredients and is enriched with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and proteins.

90% of the animal proteins and fats in this complete ferret food are of animal origin. Ferret Complete contains more than 40% chicken. Chicken meat is easily digestible and has a high level of essential amino acids, meaning that it has an extremely high organic value. Fish is an important source of omega-3 fatty acids. Generally ferrets love the taste of chicken and are carnivores that need nutrients of animal origin. Their diet demands food with a high protein content and a high fat content, which are both features of Versele-Laga Complete.

Taurine is a sulphurous amino acid contained in animal products and essential for the functioning of the heart muscles.

The risk of hairball formation in the digestive tract is reduced thanks to the natural fibres contained in these pellets.

Ferrets' teeth are unprotected against tartar build-up. Ferret Complete contains special fibres which make the pellets harder and crispier, thus promoting a better mechanical cleaning of the teeth.

Tasty...
This brand seems to suit my ferrets, they clean up their bowl in a short time. They're looking good on it too.

Contains peas
This product contains peas which ferrets should never eat as it causes issues such as kidney stones

My ferrets loves this kibble. Tried many different brands but they wouldn't touch it. These one is also good quality giving them lovely soft shiny fur.

Excellent Food
I am just ordering my second box of this food, my ferrets love it! I started off mixing it with another food and they picked it out and left the other food in the dish. It seems like a really good quality food and my 8 ferrets look great on it!
