excellent
my cat has renal problems and he loves this food. I have tried other well known veterinary products but he much prefers this and it is reasonably priced.

Excellent find
My cat recently diagnosed with CDK. Really likes this food. Would not eat prescription wet food sold by veterinary.

Marbs gives the Paws up for Beaphar
My 18 year old tortoiseshell has had RF for some years now ( and heart disease and mammary cancers!). She'd started to get bored with the various combinations I tried of the Royal Canin & Hills k/D wet and dry varieties. Searching online for alternative brands I came across Beaphar and ordered this taster pack. To say it was well received was an understatement - I was amazed & delighted to see her tuck in with an enthusiasm I'd not seen in ages (except for the things she's not supposed to have!) Been buying it for months now. And her blood tests haven't shown any sign of deterioration. btw whatever renal food you use do warm it in the microwave (10 seconds max & do stir for any hot spots) as it increases the aroma and stimulates interest. I wish Beaphar did a dry version too as I do mix renal dry food in sometimes for a change. Marbs seems to like the Taurine best of all of them :-)

Both my CRF puddies nom nom nom this all up...
Such a relief to find some food that my CRF cats really enjoy. Great that there is a taste selection, so unusual to find it 'diet' food. This food is a must. Both my cats have gained weight eating it. Smashing

Getting Archie to eat renal diet Beaphar mixed pack
Like all other cat-lovers, dreaded having to give 14 yr old Archie renal diet food. Spent many hours on the net and the only wet food in different flavours was the above. Why do R Canin etc expect cats to eat 48 pouches of same flavour?
No trouble at all with first few foils. He's now 3 weeks on and I give him a teaspoon of one flavour and if he eats it add another. Opening a different flavour often helps and if all fails I add a teaspoon of Sheba gravy to the renal diet. I sometimes bash the dry treats into powder and sprinkle a little on top of any renal diet he is not devouring.
Thank goodness one manufacturer offers choice and Zooplus discount, free postage and rapid delivery all help the extra costs of caring for a cat with renal failure.

Tasty but high in phosphates
My 15 year old cat who has been on a renal diet for 6 years now, took to these instantly after the boredom of limited variety of English renal options. However in the last two months since regularly eating beaphar and after recent blood tests her phosphate levels have risen immensely! So its back to the boring food unfortunately!

First food I've see my cat enjoy since starting a renal diet
My cat really hasn't enjoyed his food since being placed on a renal diet, tried both Hills and Royal Canin, but he absolutely LOVES the beaphar renal diet food.

Great food!
My cat was put onto the prescription food a few months ago and has lost weight steadily, as he only licked the gravy off it. He was getting weak and thin so I started desperately to look for other foods. Gave him Beaphar and it was amazing - he threw himself at it and licked the bowl clean! He's now put back all the weight he lost, is sleek and shiny again and full of beans. I think vets should told about this alternative - there must be a lot of cats who are dying from lack of food rather than the kidney disease!

My CRF cat loves this
This food is one of only 2 brands which my CRF cat will eat. She refuses all the other more well-known brands. Try this if your cat won't eat Royal Canin, Hills etc. The mixed taster pack is a great idea - why can't others offer a variety??

good to see the cat eating healthily
Ordered this food for my cat suffering from kidney failure. She usually eats the Hills or Royal Canin but bought this as a change - she had started to leave quite a lot of the other foods we were giving her. she absolutley loves this food and is literally back to eating the way she did before she fell ill. Its that good that I have now ordered some more for her.
