Renal food
My cat needs renal food and I've been trying loads. The trick is it has to be a pâté texture, and this is the only renal one I've found with that texture and, on top of that, they actually like the taste. So this is now our official pâté. He won't touch the meatballs, not even in pieces.

Favourite food!
My old lady of 21 (British Shorthair) has been doing really well for years on the Kattovit Chicken mousse. I also give her the Lamb variety now and then for a bit of change. Every day she eats almost a whole tin (half in the morning and half in the evening).
Next to that, she always has a bowl with Virbac-1 kibble and (usually) gets a slice of roast beef a day. That makes her absolutely happy.
Occasionally a little bit of Porta as a snack (I freeze the rest of the pouch in portions) and sometimes a bit of sardine.

This is the only renal product that my very picky cat devours. Since he got sick, I’ve bought Renal food from every brand on the market. With the others, he only eats the gravy. With this one, he eats it so eagerly that he even growls at me when I put my hand in his bowl.

Finally, good karma
My picky cat wouldn't touch any food. But look at that – he liked Kattovit pate in a can so much that even my other, healthy cat wants to eat it too.

A real gem
I'm delighted with these tins, they're a lifesaver for me and my cat. He hardly wanted to eat anything before, would just lick a bit from a tin and get bored of it really quickly. But he eats these with so much enthusiasm! I've been using them for several weeks now and he still loves them.

??.
She loves the lamb wet food, but she has kidney issues and it hurts her. This doesn’t happen with chicken, so I think the lamb is too fatty.

Lamm
The best kidney food for my cat
This lamb pâté is the only kidney food my tomcat actually likes to eat. With all the others, he only goes for the jelly. When the diagnosis was made, I’d already tried six different types of food – all to no avail.

Excellent
My 17-year-old cat suffers from kidney failure, so I had to change his diet. I tried several products, but either he didn’t really like them or he would often vomit after eating. Finally, with this Kattovit Renal, everything is fine and, on top of that, he loves both the chicken and lamb varieties.

My 13-year-old cat loves it! We’ve tried lots of different kidney-friendly foods, but this is the favourite!

Kidney/Renal
Veterinary prescription diets have this thing about them – cats don’t always eat them willingly, but we have to give them to save our cat’s life. Maybe it’s because when a cat is ill, things just don’t taste as good, or maybe it’s because these vet foods are made to be as healthy as possible, for example without flavour enhancers. My friend’s cat eats the exact same wet renal food and devours it like it’s five stars, but my cat is fussy and sometimes leaves some uneaten. Still, I give it as the vet recommends.
