This is the only renal product that my very picky cat devours. Since he got sick, I’ve bought Renal food from every brand on the market. With the others, he only eats the gravy. With this one, he eats it so eagerly that he even growls at me when I put my hand in his bowl.

My picky cat wouldn't touch any food. But look at that – he liked Kattovit pate in a can so much that even my other, healthy cat wants to eat it too.

She eats it up really well, she loves it.

All three cats ate it eagerly.

I'm delighted with these tins, they're a lifesaver for me and my cat. He hardly wanted to eat anything before, would just lick a bit from a tin and get bored of it really quickly. But he eats these with so much enthusiasm! I've been using them for several weeks now and he still loves them.

She loves the lamb wet food, but she has kidney issues and it hurts her. This doesn’t happen with chicken, so I think the lamb is too fatty.

This lamb pâté is the only kidney food my tomcat actually likes to eat. With all the others, he only goes for the jelly. When the diagnosis was made, I had already tried six different types of food – all to no avail.

Veterinary prescription diets have this thing about them – cats don’t always eat them willingly, but we have to give them to save our cat’s life. Maybe it’s because when a cat is ill, things just don’t taste as good, or maybe it’s because these vet foods are made to be as healthy as possible, for example without flavour enhancers. My friend’s cat eats the exact same wet renal food and devours it like it’s five stars, but my cat is fussy and sometimes leaves some uneaten. Still, I give it as the vet recommends.
