My cat had been on the Royal Canin renal pouches but I could see he was getting bored. I took a chance on Kattovit and he really enjoys this food. It has plenty of gravy and he likes that.

Good moist kidney food

Quality Differences

My cat likes it but...
My cat has recently developed mild kidney failure. He prefers licking the sauce rather than eating the chunks of pâté. So, I mash it up with a fork and add just a little bit of warm water. He eats better this way, but still keeps licking the sauce—well, he eats enough and leaves a bit behind. I give it to him at lunchtime, because for his other two meals he’s recently started eating Royal Canin renal kibble. What's wrong with the food? Way too much gravy and my cat suddenly doesn't like it anymore
I bought the 24-pack and, unlike the chicken pouches in the mixed pack or from the shop, this food is practically swimming in sauce and my cat doesn't like it. When I buy the same variety in the shop, the meat-to-sauce ratio is fine and my cat eats it happily... If they've changed the recipe, that's not good! Very inconsistent portions of food
My cat mainly eats this food. Unfortunately, with every few deliveries, he refuses to touch it. At first, my 15-year-old Sally liked these pouches more than any other Renal ones, but after about three weeks she started getting diarrhoea from them, which kept getting worse.
