Expensive but cheaper than from the vet

My cat adores this food and it took him from having a lot of struvite crystals in his urine (the S/O variant) to just a couple of fragments in 3 weeks. The only reason he's transitioned to the dry variant is the cost. If it was up to him, he'd eat it all day!

My cat likes this food

My vet recommended this food after my cat was diagnosed with renal problems. She has been fed this food for the last two years and likes it. She previously needed hypo-allergenic food but has not had any problems with the pouches.

A real life saver

My 5yr old cat was very poorly last September with renal failure. He had lost all his condition and was miserable. My vet prescribed Royal Canin Renal and Ipakitin powder and within a couple of weeks he started to improve. 10 months later he is still here, has regained most of his condition and happy enough to play - his quality of life is fantastic.

A Renal Diet that Will be Eaten.

My cat was refusing to eat an alternative make renal food. Then I tried Royal Canin. Tuna and Beef.o My 16 yr old cat adores this food, after a short while it is good to see how much brighter her eyes are, and how much better her coat is

Great food

Since my cat has started eating this, he won't have anything else. I think there could be a greater variety of flavours, but other than that no complaints. I really like the size of the kibble. Highly recommended.

Cat loves it

I was very worried that my 14yo cat would detest the Royal Canin renal food after reading various forums, but no! She loved it straight away, and, as a bonus, she likes it more than Felix. In fact, she normally prefers expensive high-meat-content food to Felix, which I got her before she was diagnosed, but I didn't imagine she'd be so enthusiastic about this special diet one. She devoured it! Here's my girl, with a taste for what's good for her. :)

Cat food in gravy is fine, she doesn't like the kibbles at all

My cat loves the Fenal cat food in gravy, but she doesn't like the kibble at all.

The cat doesn't like it

Unfortunately, my cat doesn’t like it. If I mash it up with a fork, she’ll eat a little, but there’s hardly any gravy, and half of it ends up in the bin. Waste of money.

Nowadays way too much "sauce"

Now that our cat is older, she can only have kidney food. Unfortunately, the options are always a bit limited. She tolerates and has accepted this food well so far (🤭). But lately, the amount of gravy has increased so much / the consistency has changed 🤔. To me as a human 😏😜, it sometimes looks sticky or slimy. If only the food chunks end up in the bowl or the gravy is wiped off the food... acceptance is as usual. We’d really like to spare ourselves this 'extra work.'

Likes it

Alongside Kattovit, my pet gets this too, and it gets eaten up as well. It could be a bit saucier though…

My cat really likes it.

At least my own cat likes it, and their kidney values have also improved since starting this.

Moooooore!

Lothar always looks forward to his meals. After an incident (probably involving a machine or a vehicle), he actually relies on painkillers. For some time now, we've stopped giving them to him. He's also neutered and has to be on a diet. Whether it's fish, chicken or beef, he never leaves anything behind and is well-balanced, cuddly and affectionate. Very good product, and he also really likes the 7+ dry food. Happy cat = Happy cat parents!!!

Good quality

Compared to other brands of renal food I've bought here, this is good food. It's eaten well and is sufficient. Not too wet, just a bit of gravy.

Good feed quality and seems to taste good

Even though it's a diet food, our cat really likes eating it. The individual pouches that come in small boxes are also very practical.

Also suitable for Uratharn stones

There was a change in the recipe and since then, the recommendation for cats with urate (bladder stones) is no longer on the label. But luckily, it still works very well. The urine remains reliably alkaline, there are no problems, and she still eats it very happily and without hesitation… just like all the years before. We’re happy that it works!
