Good urinary food

I had to make a switch from Hill's that my cat hated and my vet recommended Royal Canin s/o after my cat fully blocked from stress and struvites. He loved this food and after 2 months he's crystal free.

SUGAR and GRAIN in cat food

We used to buy it and then read the ingredients. Although our cat likes it, please carefully read the label before buying this product. It contains sugar and grain, and the label doesn't precise how much sugar or grain it contains. We will never again buy this product as we are not convinced that this product is in the best interest of our pet.

A Cat Food Which Works 100%

We have 5 cats with 2 on Sensitivity & 2 on Urinary S/O & 1 on Cat Biscuits. Even before i got here we have been using these products always because of the problems from an early age and every time work like a charm and always in good health. It just became harder to get as our local vet took longer to order the pouches in so Zooplus came in extremely handy to have for this product. Also very quick delivery which arrived 2 days early from the date i was given.

The Best Food Ever!!!

My cat BSH cream male has had so many sicknesses for 1 year now. Vets didn't know what his problem was for a while.... From antibiotics, to constipation, to ear infection, to bowel smell...throw ups... digestion.. name it all.. until the vet gave probiotics only 3 days course he was well. So She said, why don't you try Royal Canin Gastro... and you know what? my boy loves it. He is eating, (touch wood) and he has great bathroom, he can digest, and he feels his appetite is back! Thanks so much!!!

Excellant food, my cat was diagnosed at Xmas with urinary problem (struvite crystals) and for his future health was told he must loose weight. So 2 microchip feeding bowels & water fountain purchased and also he had this food and biscuits, as finally found something he liked! He loved both and at last check up has lost 1.6 kg, thank you Royal Canin

Expensive but cheaper than from the vet

My cat adores this food and it took him from having a lot of struvite crystals in his urine (the S/O variant) to just a couple of fragments in 3 weeks. The only reason he's transitioned to the dry variant is the cost. If it was up to him, he'd eat it all day!

Excellent for controlling pancreatitis

This is the one to go for if your cat has diarrhoea caused by pancreatitis. Morning floor clean-ups were becoming all too frequent but have reduced by about 90% since I put my cat onto this diet, and presumably he feels more comfortable too. I also give him one of the Royal Canin gastro-intestinal biscuits (not the low calorie one) and he is fine on this too. Beware another Royal Canin soft food called sensitivity-something else - I bought this once by mistake and the diarrhoea came back.

Perfect for my cats

My youngest kitten came to us with a nasty parasite (do not ask how the breeder allowed this to happen)! This causes severe diarrhoea. We tried a number of products but this is product is fabulous. She is almost entirely asymptotic now and, whilst a fussy eater, enjoys the small chunks. I agree with an earlier reviewer that it would be great to stock more flavours (if they have others?) as she can get a bit bored. Can't recommend highly enough!!!!

Royal Canin Urinary S/O

I am so happy that this food is finally available at zooplus. My cat insists on it. All of the other foods we have tried for urinary problems he has simply ignored. The food does its job perfectly. Ever since my cat started eating RoyalCanin he has been healthy and has had no relapses. I can only recommend it!

Good quality but not that appetising...

This is a great product with a really low calorie content, but I can't really say it appeals to my 2 cats... I think they really just ate it out of desperation. The sterilised version is much better, in my opinion - it's got a higher calorie content but it seems to taste better.

Royal Diabetic - nice food, good blood sugar levels

My cat's blood sugar is much better since she's been eating this food. There are even days when I don't have to inject her. I really recommend this!

Very good product

My cat recently had urinary problems (cystis and the presence of struvite). Ever since, we have changed her diet to give him Royal Canin Urinary S/O Moderate Calorie. I am very satisfied as my cat enjoys eating this. Very good product.

Great food

Since my cat has started eating this, he won't have anything else. I think there could be a greater variety of flavours, but other than that no complaints. I really like the size of the kibble. Highly recommended.

Perfect

Great food. We've had a stray cat for a year now and every now and then she has urine in her blood. I tried Katovit first, but our cat's fur started feeling very fatty. On the advice of a vet I switched to RoyalCanin and since then we have had no problems! Our cat is very well indeed. It's so nice being able to buy the food on this fantastic website. I'd love to see Royal Canin make this available in tins as well. Hopefully in the future!!!

Great!

I'm pleasantly surprised,. My cat wasn't really fat but I wanted to prevent it going further. You know what it's like: When they're kittens you give them a little something when they ask for it and that's a mistake that I'm learning from now! Luckily he likes this food.

Best Food

My 9 month old cat was throwing up daily for months on end, until we found out he had pancreatitis. It was gunking up his intestinal tract, which required surgery. He was put on lots of meds and given this food, and he stopped all vomiting. Big thank you to the vet and to Royal Canin. Highly reommended

Agrees with my cat

Very tasty food

My 5-year-old tomcat had struvite stones a year ago. On the vet's recommendation, I've been buying this Royal Canin food ever since. He really likes eating it and so far, there haven't been any problems. We regularly check his urine. I can only recommend it.

Total flop for the cat in question...

I bought 48 sachets for my cat who had a urinary blockage (SUF), on the vet’s advice because he had to switch to 100% wet food. Total flop for this cat, he wouldn’t eat them even though I bought a powder to make the food more appetising... I had to get another brand and that worked. I don’t know if the problem is the cat or the taste/smell of these pouches, because the other two have no issues with them 🪠🪠

Food given on the explicit recommendation of the vet plus FLUDT, so it's hard to tell if it's working. It's not eaten willingly, the mousse is generally left untouched or picked out, and the dry food from this range is completely ignored. At the moment, our tomcat is still losing weight because he accepts the food so poorly, although the crystals are receding (after 3 weeks), leukocytes are still high, protein and sometimes blood are still detectable (despite 16 days of antibiotics), and the pH fluctuates between 5 and 6.5. There are definitely no alternatives!

Due to an illness our tomcat had, our vet recommended this food. But our other cat also absolutely loves it. We mix a pouch of this food with a packet of their previous favourite wet food. They both wait impatiently for this combination, and it also ensures that both cats are constantly protected against urinary stones.
