This food my cat will eat, some of the other food, my cat will only lick the gravy off.

Our centenarian cat basically eats Royal Canin Loaf now, which has replaced the Royal Canin With Fish. She doesn’t prefer it but she eats it; obviously, other brands have more tempting ingredients. Sometimes I mix the Loaf with something tastier (but not renal) to get her to eat and take her medicine. I wish she would eat only the renal food.

Unfortunately, our cat doesn't really like this food. She much prefers the "normal" food. But sadly, she has kidney insufficiency and has to eat special food now.

Every day, we had to be clever to get our 17-year-old cat, who is under veterinary care for kidney failure, to take her three medications. But now, with this product, she takes them without any suspicion. What a relief! However, even though it’s said that this pâté contains a good amount of moisture, we alternate it – but without the medications – to avoid boredom or even rejection, with the three Royal Canin Veterinary Renal varieties: Chicken, Fish, and Beef.

Food prescribed by our vet for our cats with kidney issues. If I don’t mix it or add a bit of water, the cats won’t touch it. It’s not a question of quality, but my cats like sauce and strong smells, and this doesn’t really tempt them. However, for kidney problems, I do recommend it.

It is very difficult to find something that a cat with renal issues will actually eat. She loves this one.

Two cats with kidney failure. They eat it willingly and, unlike chunks from other brands too, they don’t throw up. Anyone with cats knows what I mean 😁

It’s eaten happily and well tolerated. She doesn’t have many teeth left!

Recently, my senior cat was diagnosed with kidney insufficiency, which should first be treated with special food. However, he has always been very picky and would rather go hungry than eat something he doesn't like. This variety gets eaten up completely—he practically inhales it. Of course, taste is a matter of preference and every cat is different. I bought and tried out various types in small packs—once again, Royal Canin is the winner!

My cat ate it and loved it straight away...
