Finally a food that our cat will eat! She licks her bowl clean. And it smells just like tuna and doesn't have that typical cat food smell.

I've been trying to get my cat onto good quality food, but she loves supermarket cheapest! This and Greenwoods is the only white chicken meat I can get her to eat. This one has quite a lot of jelly round it which she seems to like.

My little diva has been a fussy eater for years when it comes to wet food, but after getting used to Gimpet Shiny Cat, she’s now crazy about the tuna/chicken and tuna/shrimp flavours. And her fur is shining like mad. Of course, you have to remember this is a supplement, not a complete food—she gets it for breakfast, alongside Royal Canin Calm, and a Gourmet snack tin in the evening. I’m so happy she eats this, you can really see the quality! It’s like the difference between chips with mayo and eating fruit and veg for people. Super happy!

I used to buy this brand for many years and my kitty really liked it. But! The manufacturer changed the packaging and—as I feared—unfortunately also the recipe!!! Why? Probably to cut costs—that's the only explanation I see. They must be using some cheaper substitutes now. Sadly, because of this, I've stopped buying GimCat ShinyCat—my cat just sniffed it and walked away. She didn't eat a single bite, even though I left the can out for a long time; she'd rather go hungry.

The food has changed... it’s become more watery... there’s none of that jelly it used to have... and I can’t see any shrimp either... unless they’ve turned into mush.

It used to be our princess’s favorite food, but now she won’t touch it—just turns away in disgust. The texture is completely different. I sent the last delivery back.

These cans used to be my top choice for my kitty for years. Unfortunately, with the new packaging came a change in the recipe! My kitty refuses the new formula, so I had to switch to a different and more expensive brand.

I’ve been buying this food for our spoiled cat for many years because she used to love it. New recipe? She doesn’t like it anymore, you have to put it out so many times before she’ll eat, if she eats at all. The food isn’t firm in texture anymore, it’s actually really soft. It’s a real pity, especially since it’s not exactly cheap for the price. Maybe they’ll change it back if lots of cats stop liking it now.
