I'm glad it's not made of plastic. The cat finally started drinking water. It's super quiet. The filter is easy to change and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. After reading the comments, I bought an extra pump just in case, but after half a year the original one is still running without any problems.
It's not completely thought through that for cleaning, you have to pull a wire through a closed tunnel, and the little light is quite bright. When the water gets down to about halfway, you start to hear dripping. But for lazy folks, that's a handy signal that it's time to top up the water :D

Good for big cats
Unlike another review, I have two Maine Coons weighing 7 and 10kg each. They've never dismantled or removed any parts. They drink water from it every day. It's a big favourite in our house. The fountain basically works well, but the extremely bright blue LED can't be switched off. In summer, it attracts loads of tiny midges at night, which end up dying in the water. After just a few days, there can be hundreds of dead midges in and around the fountain, so I have to clean it out completely all the time. Totally unnecessary for a drinking fountain. Mine has been working perfectly for 4 years! The secret is regular maintenance, just like with everything else!
