As the sections aren't sealed the cat could smell the food and managed to take off the outer cover and get at all the food straight away. I have a different type of auto feeder also which is much better as it drops the food into the bowl and has never been broken into by either cat

First time I left this out I came back and my cats had managed to open it and ate half a days worth of food.

I'm a care assistant and I do 12 hours shifts it really help me to stop worried about my cat meals because not always I can fully reliable on family and friends. We love it. I also bought extra ice packs to safe time.

The C500 Automatic Feeder is everything I've been looking for in a pet feeder. I have 2 C500s both working at the same time, since I have 2 cats. They are so accurate that if both are set to the same schedule, they both open at the exact same second (unlike other machines) Feeding time can be adjusted with an accuracy of 10 mins. I only use it with dry food and the cats can smell it and try to break in. So far nothing has happened between mealtimes, except for a few scratches on the feeder. The motor is great and strong enough that the cats can't turn it further to get extra food. It turns relatively quietly. All in all, a good machine perfect for dual feeding.

I have 2 of these for both my cats. Super easy to use, cat-burglar-proof and above all - also suitable for wet food. Up to 4 meals can be programmed. Definitely would recommend - easy cleaning and filling

Works flawlessly. My 6 year old cat started using the machine at once and has given up trying to break into it after a few unsuccessful attempts. Programming it is very easy and fast, which means you can remove the batteries when not using it for long periods of time. Cleaning is also really simple. Food remains fresh for several hours even without a cold pack.

I like the feeder. It's only a couple of days since we got it and it's helping. Very easy to set up and the batteries would last for about 10-12 months (Mentioned on the manual) My only complaint is that we cannot buy more icepacks by itself at the moment. The current icepack last for about 4hrs which is kinda pointless when you have about 10hrs between the main meals.

I've bought a few automatic feeders for my cats: they were difficult to programme and weren't reliable. This feeder is easy to programme, difficult to break into and is very reliable. As the first tray is already open it allows you to prepare 4 meals to be given out at 4 times a day. The compartments are large enough and it's the compartments that rotate, not the cover. There's also a battery warning that tells you when the battery is low. GREAT!

A very good solution. At first, the cat was scared of the sound, but now it runs to the bowl when it hears it. It makes things much easier, and also ensures regularity and equal portions. I highly recommend it, even if you're at home.

Too bad, my cat doesn't want to eat from it. The device makes too much noise, so my cat would rather not eat at all than eat from the automatic feeder.

I got this contraption as a gift for my fussy cat who only eats a few bites of wet food and then walks away. Not only did he not eat from it at all—because His Highness will only eat from a slightly warmed ceramic plate and the food has to be just the right temperature—but he also smashed it within an hour by knocking it down the stairs, since, in his opinion, unnecessary things should be removed. I let my other two cats try out the container: one of them got into it and gobbled up everything he liked, leaving the rest, while the other gave it a wide berth.

Great bowl for my cat, who only eats wet food. It works perfectly for cats that eat often and in small amounts, but only wet food. During my trips, it’s absolutely ideal. It has cooling inserts that protect the food from spoiling, even in heat like we’re having now. My cat also likes to have his first meal at 4:30am, so I don’t have to get up to feed him anymore. Highly recommend.

I bought 2 bowls and both broke at the same time. They reset every day – I don't recommend them.

Kacper got used to the bowl very quickly. With my work schedule, the bowl is a lifesaver because I can provide my cat with 5 meals a day at perfect intervals.

I’m really glad I bought this feeder. My cat Boris got used to it easily, and the turning noise doesn’t bother him anymore—in fact, he runs over when he hears it because he knows food is coming! 😄 Boriska often eats small amounts, so it was always a problem how to make sure he had fresh food when I’m at work, but this feeder has solved that too. There’s only one thing I’d still like: the extra two ice packs, but I can’t find them anywhere.

Although it works very well and is very easy to handle, the trays are too deep for a 125g pouch, which is what I want to put in a tray, and my cat can’t manage to eat properly. He eats what’s on top and then struggles with his paws to get the rest out bit by bit. So I just keep the product like an ornament, since I can’t really use it. I don’t think I’ll buy this kind of automatic feeder again because I don’t know how practical it would actually be.

Easy to use, my cat started eating from it right away. Whenever he hears the sound of the bowl changing, he comes running. It's a pity you can't buy spare inserts, so at night I put it in the freezer.

We've had this bowl for 3 months now. We bought it because our cat used to wake us up every morning for wet food. The bowl works perfectly. Since then, we can sleep and the cat has its food. The set comes with 2 cooling inserts. Unfortunately, an extra set of inserts costs 100 PLN, but I still think it's worth it!

It took a few days for him to connect the noise with the kibble, but now he’s like a Formula 1 car as soon as he hears the mechanism! Despite his attempts to open it (and it’s not even fixed to the floor), he’s never managed it. I’ve been using it for over a month now to split his meals into 5 portions: 4 with kibble and 1 with wet food. Honestly, I’m delighted!
